Why is matthew playing the posh card? He acts so aloof you would be forgiven for thinking he was made in Chelsea... And yet his mum on BBOTS last night sounded NOTHING like him.
His VT outed him as a passive aggressive bore.
At least when scott did it he was funny or bitchy with it, matthew just casts his faux haughty looks, makes the odd snide comment whilst hiding behind toya or flirts with mark.
Bland... He is as beige as his cardigan.

No, he doesn't sound that posh to me anyway, he is just well spoken, there is a difference...

He sounds pretty normal to me.

Well spoken lad.

Did you see his patronising VT?... He was stood there in a wax jacket circa 1990 like part of the 'horsey set'

just because his mum doesn't sound 'posh' doesn't mean he's playing up to it :conf:.

And? Look at everyone's VT's, they all play up to the camera & come out with crap...

At 23 where has he acquired that plummy accent then?
He's just not ringing true for me.

have you ever heard his father's accent? and also it could easily be dependent on what school he went to.

Maybe... I just don't trust him he said he was going to wind people and he has, so that's made me more convinced he instigated the row deliberately.

I'm not sure if he's playing posh but theres something plays on my mind about him that I can't quite put my finger on and I think he is holding back a lot because when he was viewing the hm's secretly he said a few things that I thought quite nasty which goes against the personality he has shown us so far :suspect:

He is actually one of the only ones I haven't made my mind up about yet.

Plenty of normal people go to public school and they come away with a posh accent, but it doesn't mean they suddenly become upper class.

Yes education has a lot to answer for re people's adopted accents. And yes you can get people in the same family sounding very different.

There's something his mum said that made me question his legibility and I thought that's what you were going to address but you didn't...

He just gives off a bitch tone for me, not really posh. Can't warm to him at all he seems proper up himself a bit like Chris.
