There will be 2 HoHs each week. Each HoH will nominate 2 people each (4 nominees total). Then, the 4 nominees will compete in the Battle of the Block competition where the winning duo will end up becoming safe while dethroning the HoH that nominated them. Then, the rest of the week will go on like normal with PoV and the eviction.

No, Julie basically said that they may not be safe because if they lose Battle of the Block then they're stripped of their power, and could potentially be put up whether things don't go their way after POV.

what I don't understand is what if they both want to nominate the same people?

^ that's the only bit I don't understand and is why I assumed they'd split them into two teams to make it easier
Surely the noms ceremonies are gonna be a bit messy now :umm2:

I think overall the twist is really good. It changes the strategic and competitive nature of the game. Ive always said that it is good to throw HOHs in the first half of the game, but at the same time you don't want to look weak because the HOHs might purposely nominate the weak people so they lose and don't jeopardize their position. It really changes everything

Isn't that a bit pointless?

what?
Effectively doing HoH twice, just to eliminate one and go back to normal. Sounds like a twist for the sake of a twist.

Every twist is a twist for the sake of it in BBUS :joker:

It adds an extra dynamic to the game though because if you're the dethroned HoH you've pissed off two people and got nothing from it and there's every chance you could end up on the block by the end of the week

 this show is such a joke. Wasn't last year's twist designed to have no floaters or something? That was the sell for one of them, no floaters allowed (even though there's nothing wrong with floaters.) And now this year's twist is gonna encourage weak competitors getting nominated since they'll suck at the battle of the bull**** comp.

On the flip side though if the HoH's use the opportunity right they'll put weak players up as pawns in order to keep themselves in control of noms and then there'll be more backdoors of stronger players post-Veto
What day does this start?
It started on Wednesday  there's been two eps so far

for the housemates no, because as a housemate you want to get rid of the strong players because it makes it easier for you to win.

The whole idea of nominating people because they suck at competitions is dumb and this kinda encourages that to happen.

Ok, but surely you want the weak ones out first so that the strong ones can fight it out together?
But I can see the problem with them being so reliant on competitions to get ahead in the game.

No, I surely don't, because one's worth to the game/my enjoyment has nothing to do with how good or bad someone is at competitions. It's just a horrible baseline to make any judgments about anyone other than who the better competitor is.

I was puzzled, seems complicated for no reason.
