I wouldnt go that far but i think there are a few cracks starting to appear in her armour that have showed a human side.

No.

I think we're starting to understand her a bit more, we're seeing a couple of other sides to her which is good but she isn't a likeable presence tbh.

Toya is worse than Helen. There is good inside Helen mixed in with all the anger and hate. There is no good inside Toya whatsoever.

I have moments when I do feel sorry for her,I do think she has a drink problem and has issues, but then she talks like a fishwife again and I go off her.

Her behaviour is appalling at times. I would detest her if I was living in the house with her.

However I must admit there's part of me that feels sorry for her. She has MASSIVE anger issues and possibly a drinking problem too. I don't think she is able to control her emotions at all. She comes across as a pretty messed up individual , who just doesn't even know how to change and sometimes seems very annoyed with herself/her own reactions. A bit lost and lashing out all the time.

I always feel sorry for her targets though who bear the savage and cruel brunt of all her built up anger. She can be quite the bully which is very uncomfortable to watch.

I think it's more a case of counting the days until Helen gets her comeuppance of sorts. There's no way that the producers will let her coast through to the final as normal, whether she gets dragged out by her ankles or not :smug:

Started off disliking her, now I absolutely loathe her and the loathing intensifies with each passing day. She is a cheap, common, foul-mouthed, uneducated slut!

I don't really like her at all. But, I do feel sorry for her because you can tell she has some really deep rooted personal issues. I don't know much about her but I do know she has a rough background. She has a drinking problem and she just seems to have so much anger inside of her. Now I can't excuse her behavior but anger like that doesn't come out of nowhere. It comes from somewhere deep inside of her psyche.

I do feel for people who have issues dealing with their anger though. People don't understand and feel that if you have anger issues you are just a vile human being. Some people have a more difficult time dealing with it. I can relate to her in that respect because it was something I dealt with for years before I got help from a psychiatrist.

No don't like Helen and wish she wasn't safe till the final. I have not felt sorry for her once since she entered the house, she is vicious, foul mouthed and has a permanent scowl. Cant stand her

One of the times I felt most sorry for her was the time Toya had to take her to the bathroom. Her feelings were hurt because she felt Toya had distanced herself or was treating her different. She started of just wanting to talk to Toya but was getting angrier and angrier because Ashleigh and rest were sitting there.

She could acknowledge that she was losing her temper and that she was going to come across really bad but seemed INCAPABLE of stopping herself or calming down. She was sobbing because she was sad about Toya and also annoyed at herself but could only express her emotions through anger and shouting. I really just felt bad for her there because she seemed so annoyed with HERSELF but couldn't stop.

She then went and severely dampened my sympathies by shouting her head off with the boys only a very short while later. She seems like she is her own worst enemy...

I'm kind of realising tonight that I do have sympathy for her. She only seems to rationalise things 24 hours later, her intuition to defend and attack must have come from somewhere.

She is clearly very hurt and angry inside being so defensive and aggressive. I just wish we knew more about what is causing it to understand her more.

It's a bit like angry teenagers, there is usually a cause which is sometimes hard to find and resolve. Often bullies are or have been bullied, so making harsh assumptions without knowing the full story is becoming hard for me.

..yeah I pretty much agree with this Pinkpegasus..and hey btw, I always enjoy reading your thoughts about housemates...I think she is a fairly messed up person and you can often see her frustrations with herself but she can't control it so no matter how much she's aware of her flaws, she just keeps disappointing herself so I think her 'self hatred' is a vicious circle and just goes on and on...there are certain things that I feel empathy for and I think she's probably had a pretty tough life and has had to have a mind set of 'self preservation' and survival so is fairly much a 'fighter' and assumes everyone is against her ..and in a way they are/we are but that's because she self destructs and lashes out at others in the process....anyway I might be completely wrong about all of that and it's all her 'outside of the house' life anyway and in the house, no matter what her reasons/psychology/life etc, the results are the same in that she's fairly awful and harsh to people and is just an extreme negative person...and yeah, you could also describe her as a bit of a bully and that's never good to watch....

..yeah I thought that thing with Toya was quite telling and also the 'fight night' because a lot of her behaviour, although unpleasant is also quite childish/childlike...and that's quite interesting (possibly... because I don't know that much about her..)...with what she does for a living and maybe a 'need to be loved'..?...and then when she feels the opposite of that love, she really wants to hit out at that person. or those people...

I completely agree with this. Things that have happened in her life have shaped the person she is and that's not a likeable person. That's no excuse and she could address the issues she has but we've seen the odd chink in her armour that shows deep down there is a heart.

..I think though Annie that to address the issues that she knows she has, she would have to like herself more to feel she 'deserved' that and I don't see any self liking there at all...hopefully one day she will though and maybe 'turn her life around'..but maybe also she doesn't want to because who and what she is gives her a 'celebrity'...

I do, the blame for all the nastiness isn't squarely on her shoulders as pauline was a powerful negative influence that lingered, then toya and her minions began their attack.
I actually want ash out next, he uses helen as a reason for his bad behaviour and that's wrong.. he's just a git.
If they kept the red wine out of the house she'd be totally fine as that brings her issues to the fore, she's not a happy woman.

I've liked her all along, I think the fact that she's got the pass to the final is good because we can keep one of the big characters in there... That's why I hope they don't remove it.. Or they could give it to another big character?
