Mark Byron has been named as the new bookies’ tip to win Big Brother 2014.



Toya A Washington became the third housemate to be evicted in last night’s Big Brother leaving the boys ruling the roost as the girls continue to drop like flies.

It’s meant Big Brother has had to step in to keep the girls from eviction, putting them all in Power this week.

But despite all the guys being up for eviction as it stands, they’ve still managed to take over the betting with Mark the 2/1 favourite to win with bookies Boylesports, while Winston Showan and Chris W Right are both installed at 4/1 for the title.

Even though she has the killer nomination (although has a week off this week!), Jale Karaturp is flying the flag for the girls as she is the best girl on offer at 11/2 to win.

Although they’re in Power this week, most of girls are further down in the betting with Ashleigh Coyle priced at 16/1, Kimberly Kisselovich 25/1, Danielle McMahon 33/1 and Helen Wood priced at 66/1.

And on the subject of Helen, Boylesports are offering 8/13 that her pass to the final will be revoked.



Aoife Heffron from Boylesports said: “It may be Girl Power week in the Big Brother house but it is the boys who hold all the power in the betting with Mark the 2/1 favourite to win and both Winston and Chris second favourites at 4/1.”

She added: “Helen’s behaviour in the house has been the cause of numerous complaints and calls for her pass to the final to be revoked, Boylesports are 8/13 that Big Brother bosses will do just that and end her easy ride to the final.”

It would be an absolute JOKE if Mark won BB this year!!! He's probably the most fake housemate and biggest game-player in there. He acts and reacts extremely calculatedly in whichever way he thinks will make him look best to the viewers and, if he's now the favorite to win, it would appear that the BB viewers are falling for his act hook, line and sinker!:bored:

They're probably already writing up the contracts for him to step in his slot as Rylan's sidekick on next year's BOTS. Just when we thought BOTS couldn't get any worse. How very dire!!!

100% agree with you about Mark although I disagree regarding Matthew. Matthew is clever and Helen will think twice before taking him on again. It was very telling that Toya said during her interview (I thinks it was on BOTS or was it during interview with Davina?) that Mark is very two faced. She summed up what many of us were thinking although not really seeing because of the time factor of HL show. I so don't like Mark. He is a stirrer and playing to the cameras. choosing his words very carefully because he knows what the viewers would want to hear. So, yes, Get Him Out.

I don't like Mark, he is fake & pathetically over the top, especially when he has his forced "breakdowns" over menial things & he plays up to the cameras constantly... BUT there are far worse people in that house who I would rather left before him...

So not being in a clique is bad? Im confused I thought being in a gang was 2 faced, bitchy, belittling and ganging up on people.

Mark has done none of this he is friends with Helen even though he knows and has said anyone close to her are at risk of eviction as the public cany evict her they go for her mates but he doesn't let that effect him because he has a genuine friendship with her.

He is also friends with Matthew who happens to be an outsider and Helens nemesis but again he doesn't care if that causes friction with the others.

People calling him 2 faced for talking to people outside and in the cliques are just seriously looking for a reason to hate him or cant understand there are people in the world who genuinely get along with most people.

He has stood his ground against any arguments, he has told Helen she was making herself look like a twat and to stop behaving the way she is then when everyone was arguing he stood alone and told the whole house to shut up.

Mark is one of my favourites and I really didn't expect him to be, hes also the only one really providing any comedy value.
