The problem is people hide behind her to mask their nastiness. She doesn't have anyone under a spell. They are all adults they choose to follow and be control by Helen.

All of them are just as mean as she is. Every single one of them will leave that house blaming Helen for them being evicted (especially Ash). If they take Helen out they will just be hypocritical and act civilized because their mask has been taken away.

Everyone in that house knows what Helen does is disgusting and they are part of it because they want to.
