It'll be seen as sexist and misogyny.

..yeah I think it would have done if it was done first maybe but now I think they have to/or should do to make it right...

They could probably do it now as it will only be seen as fair.
If they did male week first though people would be up in arms.

They MUST do it otherwise it WILL be sexist because it'll be treating one group less favourably than another based on the differences between the guys and the women and that's against the law.
It's sexist if they don't do it

Don't care if it's sexist, don't want it done.

Do you think maybe it was a way of getting rid of some of the men because the evictees have all been girls so far? Kind of try and keep some balance?

Without a doubt.

I seriously hope not because if that's all it was for then surely that WILL be seen as discrimination. But I doubt it'll make any difference anyway; 3 women gone in a row, then this twist halting the flow for 1 week but I'm willing to bet it'll be "business as usual" straight after the twist, ie women out one after another then either an all male final or perhaps 3 men and 1 women.
This show (IMHO) has been sexist/gender biased whatever you want to call it for years anyway; but in favour of men. This little twist is nothing and if they (BB) are trying to redress the balance then it's far too little far too late. I think the whole show needs a massive overhaul for that to happen.
Ultimately, I doubt most people care about balance as long as nothing much changes....

Meh doesn't bother me, if it were a case of all the boys being kicked out I wouldn't mind if they did a "boy Power" week to redress the balance
jesus wept..get over it, it should be good.
Imagine the guys doing it...boring!!!
On the plus side though, they will do it and that is when Helens immunity will be taken away..it will be our only chance to get her out.

I think it's coz of so many women going.
Put a couple of female models in there & watch Helen & Kim's faces
It doesn't matter how many females have been evicted though, the producers have no right to interfere and try to affect the balance in the house by gender, that's up to the public to do.
The girls were evicted first because that is who the public spent their money voting for.

Yeah but they've already interfered too much anyway with the Killer nom and the pass to the final

None of those discriminates against gender though this twist they have guaranteed a male housemate will be evicted no matter what.
I think it was either Vicky or Verbal that mentioned it in the thread I made about it but if they had said oh everyone with blonde hair is up or everyone with blue eyes is up there would be an uproar.
If they go ahead be fair and do the boys week then fair enough but if not then there's no denying it was discrimination against the male housemates.

It does show blatant manipulation by the producers. We know they control the show anyway but this takes it too far.

100%
I don't even care about whether its discrimination or not, but it shows that the producers will just change the rules when things aren't going the way they want. It really just shows how much the show has changed. Its not even really a reality show anymore

well duh.for example lets flip marlon n Helen from week 1 till now n lets take away the pass to the final.marlon would be gone long time ago.Only reason Helen is still in the show cause of rating, they know if they loose her ratings will fall off

Remember that show we used to watch called Big Brother, when each week HM nominated to evict 2 HM and one was evicted every week until the final.
Seems like years and years ago.......

If the GBP want a Big Brother sausage fest then that is what BB should accept and let the show run its course! I hate that we have No control when they said the audience will have more say then before and get to influence the show like never before...LIKE HELL! What Bullsh!t! we havent had a proper say since week 2!

If that is the case, bb should give marlon a pass to address the racial imbalance. I guess you all supporting the notion of balance finds this only logical as two black house mates have been evicted back to back.
