View Full Version : Ashleigh Her dislike for Helen

Ashleigh hasn't always hated Helen or found her to be vile, she actually bitched with Helen about Kimberly before Paulines eviction iirc, I wonder if the crowd reactions has something to do with her complete U turn?

She surely would have found her 'vile' after her very first argument with Danielle if the arguing/nastiness was the cause of her changing her opinion.

But then she was really friendly with Toya for about a week and Toya was nasty to some housemates, saying she was going to 'deck' Jale for example.

Hmmm

Opinions?

Ashleigh just likes to bitch I think, and Helen being so unpopular with the public makes her an easy target for Ashleigh.

Yep. She's trying to appeal to the public. She was beig "vile" with Helen,Pauline and Toya not long ago.

Hmm yeah I think she does like to bitch Mock but then say Ash goes on Friday, she hates Helen apparently so what's next for Ashleigh then? is she going to sit in that pod with Danielle bitching the whole way through the show?

What is she going to do when Danielle leaves because she has more or less isolated herself from the rest of the hm's

She probably dislikes Helen for the same reasons most of the public do.

So then why not dislike her since the very fist argument Helen had in the house with Danielle?

That's what I meant with my first post, she was still ok with Helen after that.

If she could i would imagine she would live in the pod with Danielle so not to have any contact with any other HM. I think Jale would help her out if Danielle went & maybe kim but they dont like spending most of the day bitching.

But she had no issue laughing and partaking with Helen when she was providing those reasons to be hated.

It probably takes a while for dislike to build up, though. Helen's argument with Danielle, her treatment of Jale, her row with Matthew, the snide remarks...
Somewhere along the line Ashleigh probably got to the point where she started to detest the sight of her, her voice, her facial expressions. That happens when you dislike someone that much - everything about them annoys the hell out of you.

Right? I think some people are looking for reasons to dislike the "duller" housemates.

I hate to pull the age card which I have seen a lot but she is and 18 year old girl, I imagine she wanted to be in the "cool" crowd initially and was surrounded by big personalities like Helen and Pauline etc.

Yes I agree it can take a while for dislike to build up but don't you think its at least a little bit odd that she first displays her hatred for Helen to other housemates after Pauline was evicted and she heard the crowd

That's true to be fair, but she did know instantly why Helen was disliked.

I wonder does she dislike Helen because most of the group are now gravitating towards her? I know she probably dislikes her voice and her attitude but to be fair Helen hasn't ever attacked Ashleigh or made any snide comments to her. Just a thought

Right? I think some people are looking for reasons to dislike the "duller" housemates.

Ashleigh gives anyone enough reason to dislike her tbh with all the bitching she does and the constant miserable mood she has.

She is a very bitter girl and most of it is unnecessary IMO

Clutching straws, her & Helen have never been close

No one said her and Helen had been close...

I think Helen has just worn on her over time. Her early behaviour probably did annoy Ashleigh but she didn't want to cause rifts so early on maybe?

If it is something to do with the crowd's reaction, I reckon it's just given her confidence to actually voice her hatred haha, rather than deciding to hate her based on it

I forgot to add when I replied to you, Ashleigh was close to Toya for the last week she was there, Toya was nasty to both Jale and Christopher so if she found that unacceptable from Helen then why not the same for Toya?

Helen has never attacked me either but I can't stand her! :joker: You can definitely dislike someone based on their behaviour towards other people.

Interesting point though about Ashleigh maybe disliking Helen because the group gravitating towards her. I do get the feeling that she can't stand that other hms are friendly with Helen.. She only seems to dislike Kim now because of her friendship with Helen

Maybe she disliked her in secret and and felt vindicated when she heard the boos, maybe she had said it previously and it wasn't shown - or maybe she is playing a game (not very well.)
Either way, I can understand why she dislikes her but I wish she'd S**U or BB would stop showing her bitching for a while. I do see a glimmer of hope because she seems to be getting more dominant in the house.
I think if Helen left for whatever reason we'd see a different Ashleigh.

Yeah I suppose she could have disliked her all along but then not sure why she would join in bitching with her that's just the way I see it though.

I really hope she does do something other than bitching because at this point she is a chore for me to watch, the producers must have saw something in her to make her a worthy hm in the first place, we just haven't saw any sign of that yet.

I'm kinda baffled by it, I'm not sure if it is because of the boos, other people have been booed and she hasn't relentless spoken badly about those. Maybe it's just the role she finds herself playing in there and in a way she's trapped in it.

I'd imagine the likes of Ashleigh was always in the cool kids group, and now she finds herself excluded from it. She could blame Helen for that.

Toya was good to her, liked her and made an effort with her. She is obviously going to make allowances.
Besides, Toya was very 'in your face' and shouty but she was a different type than Helen. No way was Toya's nastiness comparable to Helen's treatment of Jale or the way she tried to humiliate Matthew, for example.

I didn't particularly like Toya but apart from putting Christopher up for nomination, she didn't bother me because I couldn't take her seriously and I think she has a kind, fair side. Helen is a mean, cruel girl, Toya is just a drama queen.

we should be looking at the others kim and jale and their motives

She is jealous of Helen. Ashleigh wants to be the popular girl who all the guys enjoy a banter with. She gets excluded because she does not have as strong a character as Helen, so she turns into a moody bitch and hates on Helen and the guys who like Helen.

This why she wants to split Helen and Ash up.
