I really want a proper game player on Big Brother and someone who says in their VT 'I want to win...I will play a game' etc and then guide us through stuff in the diary room and completely manipulate everyone.
(Only problem is BB would probably screw them over by showing their VT or clips of them in the diary room)
Anyway...people are saying Ashleigh is a game player etc but the reason I don't like her is because she isn't admitting/doing it to win...she's doing it because she just hates helen and once ash goes she'll probably gun for helen and then she'll just stop
i don't really think she's a game player she just is friends with danielle and spoke over helen...if helen was in a room with Ashleigh, Ash, Marlon and Steven and they all spoke over her and didn't let her save anyone there would be outrage.
Anyway, I'm just saying she's not really a game player she's just doing it to spite helen

Hated everyone this season until Ashleigh smashed it on tonight's episode. Love how refreshing it is that someone admits to playing the game openly. Gives this season hope.

but i don't think she is really playing a game. it's just her being bitter towards helen and trying to overpower her and get her friend out so she has less friends in the house

I think Ashleigh hopes Helen will walk, once Ash is evicted.

I totally see what you are saying and i agree that there is a degree of that involved. But she has been pulling the strings. Remember her saying to Danielle that she will agree to Marlon only because it'll eliminate Helen having any say in Ash being taken off. She knew what she needed to do, made a plan and executed it. Taking Kim and Jale aside to talk without Helen was also a strategy on her part and it worked. She knew who she could reason with and went in for the kill. She is playin the game, and its also personal.

fair enough :) i just really want someone who goes after everyone and is ruthless and backstabs their own friends :joker: think it would be the best viewing but the public would completely be against it

Im with you on that. I would love to see the public back someone who plays the game ruthlessly to win, and would throw anyone under the bus.

I don't like gameplayers. I just like how Ashleigh manipulated the situation to her own end during this particular week.

But then recognising the real enemy Big Brother and its games that are set up to pit one persons anger at another seems beyond these HM's and most of the publics ability to recognise. Well lets say I never see it mentioned, which in itself is revealing.

I still don't see why people think Ashleigh 'manipulated' it for Ash to be up. She didn't convince Kim and Jale to vote the way she wanted them to. They are their own person and had already more or less decided they wanted to save others rather than Ash. Danielle might be under Ashleighs spell but the others clearly are not

Probably because she's not played a game yet.
She doesn't like Helen or Ash. BB put Ash up for eviction and now she's acting like the mastermind behind it.
She wanted Matthew saved but was forced to settle for Marlon just to spite Helen. Was that supposed to be cunning?
It was incredibly weak willed that she took the easiest route out.

Had she not been there it is perfectly obvious that Steven, Marlon and Ash would have been saved. They only decided that it would be fair to save one of the others because Ashleigh and Danielle were happy to give them Marlon and Steven.

Nope, it could very easily have been Steven, Ash and Marlon saved.

No. All five agreed Chris was a guarantee after they cried over his speech.
Leaving only two spots left.

Again, all 5 agreed on Chris.

I don't really see how this is game play. It's more like she hates Ash and wants him gone so she used the obvious (Ash doesn't really talk to the rest) to make sure he was up. It's not like getting rid of Ash is going to help her win.
