Hands up how many people believe that he thinks that's the actual phrase? And he had to say it 4 or 5 times too just so we didn't miss how silly and ditzy he is ugh So what do you think?

Yeah I said it on another thread earlier, he kept saying it even though he knew it was wrong, hoping BB would pick up on it and he could go on to say how he always thought it was "escape" etc etc , but they just kept stum so he looked a bit silly

No offense here but you would have to be seriously naive to think that Mark believes that's the actual phrase, also as the OP pointed out he mentioned it multiple times just in case you didn't hear him the first time he said it.
How people are falling for Mark's act is beyond me.

The getting comfortable in the chair thing was obviously exaggerated, but I genuinely believed this  seems like a simple mistake to make, there's plenty of these kinds of words/phrases that sound similar and that people can mishear and learn them wrong, it's like misheard song lyrics

Nah, he said it too many times for it to be a genuine mistake, he was making sure it was picked up on..........imo

He's an old hand at reality TV so is desperately playing up for the camera's - as said before he said it too many times to make sure it was picked up on - truly desperate imo.

No. he is aware of what he says and does . When he was told that the hair dryer was not being turned on for 24 hours he stormed out (checking the camera's were on him ) and threw himself on the sofa Nikki style.
It's all done for effect.

I think he probably does actually, it's not a difficult mistake to make and it does make more sense in all fairness to him.

I still get confused by that saying though, also the benefit of the doubt does that mean like forgiving someone or no longer putting up with their shizzle?
I also thought east Anglia was abroad and rio digeniro was a place back in 2002.
I was 16 though, Jade had no excuse being almost 5 years older lol.

It reminded me so much of how he was in the first week or so, when he'd try to be funny by being a bit daft or very scouse. In the past couple of weeks he's made me laugh just by being naturally funny rather than putting it on, but this escape goat thing was so obvious!!!
