With Matthew gone which I personally think is a fix who will now stop watching this series?

I'm not stop watching because I don't see why people do stop watching but this series is going down hill fast

Yes, I've been bored for ages, and I much prefer BBUSA, so I'll just watch the live feeds over BBUK

Eventually, probably, but not because of Matthew's eviction... I've already started to lose interest (not watched Weds/Thurs' HLs) because of the heavy featuring of Steven/Kim, and the constant flicking between Ashleigh bitching and Helen bitching

just...don't like any of them as people except Chris, really

Why on earth would someone stop watching.
None of the housemates are our personal friends, that being the case, it makes no difference who goes.
Turn on the first night with the intention of watching all summer, see no reason to change my mind.

I want to watch it to the bitter end and see how it all pans out.

I'm teetering on the edge here.
This series just seems to get worse and worse, and there will no doubt be people wondering what on earth is going on with the voting, they need to start revealing percentages.

I won't stop watching but judging by tonight's show, I'm not sure how much I can take of the Danielle/Winston showmance or the Steven/Kim
Also, intelligent conversation is slipping away fast.
We will be left with Helen getting pissed every night, Ash trying some "under cover work" with her, Mark's stupidity & Christopher looking lost.
Great (!)

I'll be out once Ashleigh, Danielle, and Chris leaves. Really not looking forward to seeing the final weeks if were left with Helen and her group. Don't wanna see Winston, Ash, Helen, Marlon talk about sex all day and gloat about how cool they are.

Really don't see the appeal of Matthew, he is wet and pompous. The show is well rid.

It's not even about Matthew. It's about a housemate being 1/16 to go and being saved. No one odds on to go at 1/3 has ever been saved so when someone at 1/16 to go is saved then everyone smells a ch5 rat.

What showmances? Danielle and Winston? :joker: I hate showmances as much as anyone, but that would just be hilarious to watch. Matthew did nothing whatsoever to interest me, it was like watching an overgrown 6th former acting all superior to everyone. At least now he can go home and sip red wine and listen to some Radio 4 wearing his cardigan and moccasins in peace.

Agree with both of these posts.

True fans of the show wont turn off due to one housemate leaving tbh, there are still more than ten housemates in there and one of them will no doubt catch peoples attention.

Even if someone I like leaves I won't stop watching I just think well that's **** then get over it.

Not really sure why Matthew leaving would stop lots of people watching anyway he wasn't exactly a big character and never exactly had a massive fan base..

Not sure why people are deciding to switch off after Matthew off all people leaves, we've still got Helen and Ashleigh around so it'll be alright for a while until she inevitably goes next week...then we're in dangerous territory

If Helen ever leaves before the final then it may be worth switching off, but once I've started something I want to finish it tbh and I have a loyalty to BBUK

Because he's representative of all the people who don't like bullies (Helen) , and those who think they shouldn't be voted out and have a sense of entitlement (Ash). Once people give their vote to these kind of HM's the whole series is ruined for many people....why continue watching when it's obvious someone not worthy of the title is going to be pushed to win?

Nobody will.
The people that have said they will are the same people that said it when Pauline got the boot and the same people that said it when erm whats her name..Toya! got the boot.
They will put their toys back in the pram and declare another housemate as some sort of queen and then repeat it all over.

It's just fans having a hissy fit. I was at work tonight so had to catch up but I knew Matthew had been evicted and was in two minds whether to watch it or not. I did though - I needed to catch up with the highlights at least, dull as they were. Once I start watching an episode of BB I'm just hooked till the credits roll. :)

Hanging on for Ashleigh. She goes. I'm gone.

Same here. I don't know what the hell has happened to the viewers. I think they've all gone nuts.

For weeks they hated Ash and Helen. But as soon as someone stood up to them (Ashleigh), the viewers now have turned on Ashleigh and are now supporting Ash and Helen.:conf:

Indeed, they voted out Matthew to spite Ashleigh. Have you ever heard anything so pathetic?? It's a joke.

Asheligh has been branded a 'brat' for wanting Ash out. Say, what! This coming from the same people who also wanted Ash out.:joker:

Blinkin' heck man, what's wrong with people.

I'm loving Ashleigh, the only one in there with a backbone. I'd like to see her win but I'm afraid her haters have grouped and it looks bad for Ashleigh. In any event, you did good Ashleigh.

If you wanna walk, I don't blame you. You deserve respect. If you're not getting it don't give the haters the gratification of evicting you. :)

Well said Gusto, I can't get my head around it.

It's almost as if they want Helen and her Acolytes to steamroller any dissidence in the house so the clunts rule supreme.

I honestly think that this will be the last civilian BB on C5 with the lowest ever ratings.

It's been cast and edited to cater to the lowest common denominator.

Jale gets on well with Helen now. They got to know each other and don't hold any grudges against each other.

Why doesn't Ashleigh make any attempt to get to know the housemates she has a problem with? She prefers to just bitch about them 24/7.

If Ashleigh was the leader of a nation it would be in a permanent state of war. There is no peace with Ashleigh, only bitterness, resentment and hatred.

There is an early clip (can't be arsed looking, maybe day 2) in which Helen totally dismisses any chance of being friends with Ashleigh because she is eighteen.

I have watched every single series of Big Brother since it started, but never have I disliked so many of the housemates, that added to the constant manipulation by the producers & even more selected editing than normal & I am done. For the first time ever. I am a true fan of Big Brother, this series just isn't Big Brother to me & I now don't like or care for any of them left in there...

It isn't about Matthew leaving, more the fact that the house is now full of arseholes & BB seem intent on keeping them in there & so many people on Twitter that I follow every series have also said they have had enough too...

The tone of the series was set when they gave one housemate the decision to give another a pass straight to the final.
BB has always been about the public being in control yet such a major decision was taken away from them.
And now we are stuck with a foul mouthed bitch like Helen for every episode, every night.
They should give control back to the viewer to decide if anyone else should get the pass.
