lol no it's saving the show, if Helen goes this series is over for real
We got SO lucky that that pass went to someone like her when it could've been a bore, it should never ever be revoked

When Helen wins, this series of Big Brother will be regarded as one of the greatest, if not THE greatest in BB history

What is it about the prospect of watching the likes of Christmas and Matthew all summer that appeals to you? It would bore the tits off me.

Yeah, it's definitely keeping this show from being great. This is the first BB I've watched from start to finish since the Australian one in 2005 and it really is a struggle to sit through now. The focus on the bores/Helen's group is just tiring. I skip through anything where Steven speaks and I drone the others out.

The only thing I like about this laughable turnaround Helen's having is the prospect that she may completely get people back onside and somehow end up winning, it's a very, very big ask but if she pulled it off she would become the best winner in the shows history so

The only way she can win is if it is very emotional. That is what I saw in my tea leaves a couple of weeks ago. Crowd in tears, Emma in tears, the forum in tears, the housemates in tears and Helen stood at the top of the BB steps, in tears. Redemption for both her and the audience. :hehe:

The show would still be great without her, she is what's wrong with the world.

I love how people seem to forget not 2 weeks ago they were branding her a bully after her countless warnings she has had about her behaviour to other housemates. Some people seem to have memories of goldfish.

No way it is, I don't agree with anyone getting a free pass at all to the final but no way really is that making Helen get all her own way now.
No way either are Helen and Ash bullying anyone either. She is a loud mouth but not a bully.
She was well outvoted last week and couldn't get Ash saved from being up for eviction,it is the public who are voting the characters up out, with vote to evict they also can easily organise others to vote for the one they want out too.
The only people really ruining this series are BB themselves with their constant daft twists and the meddling with noms and indeed the eviction process.
Benjamin

No, what is killing this show is the producers being twats and messing with the nominations each week in an attempt to make it "interesting". I find it far more interesting hearing the housemates nominate and their reasons and then watching the reactions as they are announced. BB has messed up with this years season and I really think they don't care, this is the last civilian BB.

I know, right!
She's been warned for her behaviour.
She's been edited better this week and given a Helen the hilarious task to make the public like her more.
And she's toned it down because she's realised her behaviour is costing her her friends.
Makes me cross how easily manipulated people are and how easy they forget:shrug:

Helen was mean about Jale in the first week. They get on much better now. Jale can forgive and forget, but instead of Helen haters doing the same, they turn on Jale and start hating her too.

05-07-2014, 07:33 AM
I don't believe for a second that Jale likes Helen, i think Jale is just complying to make her time better in the house.
She's trying to go under the radar because she's up for eviction every week, her tactics are to be as invisible as possible, because lets face it, out of all of them she probably needs the money the most.
I think everyone expected her to be on the good side, and now she's turned into a butt kiss, but she's only a butt kiss for survival.

I agree. BB should just get the vile bitch out.
I don't think it's ruining the show. I've accepted the fact that she's a complete **** of a human being and is quite possibly the rudiest and most horrible HM in BB history but she's a talking point! We'll remember BB15 for having Helen.
It's likely that the longer she's in there the more hated she'll become on the outside but no doubt she'll love that like Charley etc.

Well said.
They have implemented ridiculous an constant contempt for the basic rules of Big Brother.
They are desperate to nurture arguments through hurried twists.
In the good old days all it needed was for Housemates to sequence themselves in order of brains and beauty for the egos to rise up and sparks to fly.
Two HMs are democratically chosen as Power HMs and then one has to be up for nomination. Just plain silly.
Merit has been removed.
I shudder to think where their lack of intelligent and underplayed creativity will lead to if there is ever another series. The whole show seems like an advertisement to sell down-market newspapers.

Totally ruined it for me, as has all the rest of the manipulation...
It isn't Big Brother anymore it's 'Borehamwood Bitches', one of the many TOWIE style "reality" shows...

I'm afraid it's several weeks too late for that. Just look at this forum. People have somehow managed to convince themselves that she's in some way likable. I have no idea.
I can only assume it's so that they can continue to watch the show without desperately trying to bash their own heads in with a claw hammer. She's probably the worst thing I've ever seen on TV.
There would be a strange, ironic comedy in her winning the show though. A sort of parody of Big Brother and reality TV in itself, in a way. Big Bro was the ORIGINAL reality show. Reality shows were really great fun to watch, for a while... then, slowly they started to be invaded by fame *****s. A few years later, people started to allow the fame *****s to WIN the shows.
And now, there's an outside chance that the original reality show could be won by an actual celebrity *****. A literal prostitute, who had celebrity footballers pounding her warty old minge for a few hundred pounds a pop, stands a chance of having the "Great" British public vote her the winner of the quintessential reality show.
It's sort of hilarious. You know... in a resigned, depressing, "Oh sweet jesus the world really is a disgusting cess pit" sort of way.

Helen has said that the only reason she didn't get booed last night is because she is biting her tongue and made herself look stupid in the task....why would I want to forgive and forget when that someone is not being herself. She is actually mocking the public for being so gullible.

She really is. She seems to be draining the energy out of the housemates and draining the life out of the show. Unfortunately, they're never going to do anything about this and we're going to lose the more popular housemates like Ashleigh thanks to the sheer ineptitude of the production staff before they do, if they do.
