So Cris did tell Ashleigh to drain it?

Why the hell would Marlon sit back and let himself be evicted basically? He done the right thing.

Would Winston and Mark be so angry if they had been booed?

NOPE don't think so

winston was dying for a reason to write marlon off...from since he said he felt slightly awkward around him..and was embarrassed when it was shown

**** friend anyway tbh.

Who would prefer their mate to be up for eviction after being boo'd in previous evictions just so they can get a luxury budget?

Pathetic.

Winston just knows that Danielle is craving a certain seven inches of Super Marl, he is trying to put distance between them while there is still time

how is it pathetic? you don't know what its like in that house? its not like normal homes where we can have food whenever we want and luxurys, there over 10 people to feed with such little budget, of course they be pissed off, wouldnt you be knowing you have to suffer with hardly any food?

Winston showed his "true colours". There is no friendship whatsoever before Marlon pressed that button. If I was in there and my mate was up for eviction and there was a big chance of him being evicted, I would want him to press it. Winston is more concerned at the fate of Ashleigh than he is the fate of Marlon.

Good on Marlon for having the good sense to press it so quick, he knew he was in danger and took action to save himself. He played the game perfectly and any of the other hm slagging him off for it are either simple or plain hypocrites because you know Winston would have pressed it if he was in that position.

Feeling a bit sorry for Marlon now. He's immature, with no backbone, and too much up people's ass and it's backfiring on him. Get some backbone dude.

If Marlon didn't press that button and the 5 of them spend 30-40 seconds deciding what to do, Jale, Chris and Christopher would have suggested that Ashleigh press it to save herself because she got booed. The other housemates would have welcomed them back and everyone would be happy stroking and fingering each other for the rest of the evening. Marlon would be evicted on Friday.

Marlon thinks "F that". :cheer2:

Again, nobody's in the right in this argument.

Marlon was selfish for pressing that buzzer in the first place. He didn't even talk it out with anybody, and his reason for pressing it was ridiculous. "I pressed the buzzer for you guys." Oh give me a break, Marlon.

But then the rest of the house (apart from Danielle) act like he's just spat in their faces. Like it's such a huge overreaction, and Winston's proved himself to be a tit by flat-out dropping Marlon as a friend.

Why selfish? The housemates put him up for eviction. If they had discussed it they would have agreed for Ashleigh to press it. Marlon doesn't owe the housemates anything.

It's selfish because he chose to save himself knowing that his housemates would suffer (for lack of a better term). This was a team challenge, and Marlon let the rest of the housemates down. He pressed that buzzer two seconds straight after the countdown started, knowing that everybody would lose the task because of his actions. I understand that Marlon, like everybody else, is in Big Brother to win, but again, this was a team challenge. This shows the rest of the house that he's out for himself, rather than the other housemates.

Not a Marlon fan, gutted that he saved himself as I wanted him out this week.

As to the housemates reaction, very hypocritical of some of them.

Danielle lost 20% to stroke her dog.

Stephen and Ashleigh lost 25% for messages from home.

Helen, Jale and Kimberly lost yet more to listen to gossip and Mark was happy to drain it to get his tan and eyebrows done.

Had they all agreed not to push the button beforehand that would be totally different.

Marsh.
09-07-2014, 01:12 AM
Exactly. Why is the onus on Marlon to preserve the remainder of the battery when everyone else willingly drained it to get their selfish treats?

Danielle could've done without seeing her dog, Mark could've done without his fake tan if they were that bothered about living on a basic budget.

Achilles
09-07-2014, 01:13 AM
Would have been ever better if they refused all treats and it was at 100% when Marlon pressed the button :laugh3:

Well it worked for last year's crown-thief Sam-whatshisname?...Marlon is just copying his winning strategy....he'll sleep until a day or two from the final, and then wake up and suddenly find his gob...and bully the person that has been the series' biggest entertainment and the righteously-minded voters will phone in their millions to make him the champion! :cheer2: ...great strategy , is it not?

Suffer LOL they won't exactly starve.

Marlon done what most people would do and everyone of the housemates including Winston are hypocritical *****, they all drained the battery for completely selfish reasons AND Christopher was telling Ashleigh to press the button meaning the task was lost either way.

Amy Jade
09-07-2014, 01:50 AM
They were all selfish not just Marlon, I literally have NO idea why people are laying the blame on his shoulders alone.

Mark spent battery life to get his eyebrows done and a spray tan the shallow turd, Winston used battery life to ask twitter if they like him the gormless fool, at least Marlon used it to further himself in the game.

Those are the two I have seen giving Marlon the hardest time and frankly both their reasons are moronic and utterly shallow so who do they think they are having a go at a guy for buying himself another week when they did it for far less?

This could work out brilliantly for Marlon. If the whole house continues to be against him, he could come across as a victim and receive sympathy from the audience while others are vilified. He may have just made the move of the season

My sister told me that Emma said it twds the end, but he wasnt shown saying it
Im away but there would be no point at all in her lying, plus she likes Winston, so Emma must have said it

As for Ashleigh saying she wouldnt press the button??? Really, you expect people to believe that?
That must be why Christopher said, whilst standing at the buttons waiting for the countdown to begin "you know what to do Ashleigh"

She was ALWAYS gonna push the button, but unfortunately for her, SuperMarlon got there first!!!!!
