To push the button just to be safe for another week, like seriously marlon you face facts your up for the public vote, and if its your time to go its your time to go and leave the house, but to push a buttom just to be safe for one week is it really worth it! Dont get me wrong id have pushed the button straigh away if there was abit of prize fund to come your way but there wasent marlon just smells and looks like deseperation, ashleigh is 10 times the man marlon will ever be!

I'd press it just for the hell of it. Don't need a reward

Marlon is obviously incapable of thinking things through. Any normal person would realise that inflicting a basic ration on the rest of the housemates might make them angry enough to nominate you next week. My guess is that he cannot think more than one step ahead.

Why would he care if they hate him anyways?

They all want to stay, they wouldn't be there if they didn't.

So the insinuation that he's desperate and everyone else isn't is just pathetic.

They all entered Big Brother, they all want to stay as long as possible and they'd all love to win.

How are you ever going to win if you lose the task by pushing the button? The housemates are the ones who initially put you up for eviction?

i would only press the safe button if it doesn't affect the shopping, because by the looks of it, food is a big issue in there.

They truly didn't hate him did they? Also in not pushing the button he would have gained favour and kudos. Then they would have liked him giving him more chance to get to the final.

Allot happens in a week in that house. He's brought himself more time to win the housemates over. Greet move he would of gone this week otherwise.

If there was cash yes but I wouldn't press it for being safe because because the housemates would nominate me next week

And the others aren't going to win favour by arguing etc etc.

I never said he pressed the button to win. But they're all in there because they want to be, so presented with the option to stay they will take it. Especially when they were booed by the public and would likely be evicted. He's just bought himself an extra week. Anything can happen in that time.
Big Brother gave them all the option and he was well within his rights to take it. He doesn't want his experience to end yet, good for him. Good for any of them.

If I'd spent 6 months trying to get into the house I wouldn't pass up the opportunity to stay in as long as possible.

But if you're nominated every week anyway you have nothing to lose.

he was likely to be nominated next week anyway. And had a good chance of going this wekk if Ashleigh pressed the button (which she would have). No reason for Marlon not to

I would rather be nominated the next week than be evicted this week

the public will love Marlon after all the terrible people in the house bully him over this. Marlon is the mastermind

He was already gonna be up next week anyway so why not be able to save himself from this week's eviction? Everyone of them can harp on at him for doing that but they were all fine with Steven and Ashleigh getting messages from home, Helen, Jale and Kimberly seeing "gossip" clips, Winston and Christopher getting to use twitter and Mark having a ****ing facial so why not? why is it so unacceptable for Marlon to use the battery power like the rest of them?
