Winston actually looked like he might cry a couple of times - he really believed that poor Marlon had seriously betrayed them. His reaction was what you might expect from a soldier on the front line whose best mate had sold a month's supply of rations to the enemy to escape danger themselves. I'm not sure who I pity most - him or Marlon. They are both complete eejits in their own way but I do hope they can be friends again.
