"I don't think it's going to be as straight forward as one out three in"

These people make it up as they go.

I note she doesn't say that there is going to be an eviction interview.

Also Emma never said the person with the most noms is evicted, she just said 'they walk out the door' :suspect:

When does she ever say that there'll be an eviction interview anyway?

Also, it's fairly obvious it isn't a straight forward one out, three in. Armageddon is four days long after all.

You can't say they're making it up as they go when we didn't know all the details to begin with.

Newbies going in appear to be going up against the Housemates, with a chance to nick the rewards!

I remember hearing that Helen could lose her pass during this, and Mark could lose his 5k. [Jale probably could have lost her killer nom had she stayed], so maybe the 3 newbies can steal them, and one would have got 5k, one killer nom, and one final pass

Josy has posted a new TiBB frontpage article.

Emma has been giving out some information in a video about the upcoming 'Armageddon Week' (http://www.thisisbigbrother.com/bigbrother15-2014/news-256793/three-new-housemates-and-eviction-twist-for-armageddon-week-channel-5.html) which begins on Monday at 10pm on Channel 5.

http://pictures.thisisbigbrother.com/userpics/24444/normal_Capturearmeg.JPG

She mentions some stuff that we previously posted about, that on Monday night we will be seeing face to face nominations with the most nominated housemate 'walking.....

Emma says that about every twist, she can't reveal until the actual show.

They aren't making it up, they know exactly what they are doing with Armageddon week but what's the point in releasing every single detail before it airs? they need to keep some little things quiet to gather some interest.

And if something is secret then Emma actually isn't allowed to reveal it until the producers post it online.

They really ought to reveal whether someone actually is going to be evicted properly on Monday.

They always used to reveal the twists prior to them actually happening. These days the reveal them little by little and change them on the fly to get the result they want (Steven putting Toya up for example).

And I find the idea that these people know exactly what they're doing rather amusing.

Not always. Things like the true nature of the house next door, the secret garden etc were left until the live show.

They always reveal what will happen in a show (in this case face to face noms) but you don't get the extra twist until the show airs.

I agree there are more incidents nowadays of them making things up randomly out of thin air, but there's no suggestion with this particular twist.

Jamesy

Yeah, this twist seems well planned, they're just keeping quiet with the full details. Nothing seems to indicate they're making it up as they go along.

They don't have to reveal every detail, don't you think that would make things very boring?

They haven't always revealed whole twists either.

And I find the idea that these people actually care to interfere in who goes and who doesn't amusing.

Why haven't they taken Helen's pass away for her behaviour?

Nope. That's how they used to do everything.

No they didn't. We didn't know Aisleyene would be evicting one of the new housemates in BB7 until the live show.

They only reveal full details ahead when it's needed because of a public vote for things like fake evictions.

No need to this time with no public vote occurring.

The second half of BB7 was indeed the beginning of ridiculous levels of manipulation. BB8 went into overdrive.

If they are planning on evicting someone the public have just voted to save, they might want to know about that.

The house next door wasn't manipulation against anyone. They were all newbies, the public voted Aisleyene through.

The public haven't voted to save anyone, it's vote to evict this year.

I was thinking more of Nikki being evicted and then voted back.

There was clearly a campaign to save Ashleigh by voting out Jale, as you well know. Head-to-head is essentially the same thing anyway.

There hasn't been a head to head, apart from 10 minutes after the vote freeze.

That doesn't mean they can't do this twist because the public "saved" anyone. People will vote to evict each of the housemates for any number of reasons, being fans of one of the other housemates being one of them.

Toy Soldier
12-07-2014, 06:25 PM
This is exactly why there's no way it's a real eviction. People spent a lot / voted hard to evict Jale over Ashleigh and now Ashleigh has a high chance of being evicted a few days later with no public vote? They'll never do it. They'd be in dodgy ground verging on fraud, and risk having their ability to make money from phone votes removed completely. I just dony think they're that stupid. They are QUITE stupid though, so maybe.

That's just a technicality. It's obvious (in legal terms) that people voted on Friday to save Ashleigh and on the understanding that Ashleigh would be safe until the next public vote (barring walking out or being ejected for a rule break). People would be well within their rights to demand a refund for their phone votes over the past week, should Ashleigh be evicted on Monday without a public vote.

No well not really, the Armageddon twist was confirmed before Fridays eviction so people voted knowing Ashleigh was only potentially safe until Monday..and since it was vote to evict and not save then I don't see how that could be a valid reason to complain anyway..?

No, no, no, they wouldn't.

The phone vote is a "Vote to Evict" vote. People who voted for Jale have no "right to demand" anything at all. They voted to evict a housemate, a housemate is evicted.

Doesn't entitle them to anything, nor does it mean the saved nominees are guaranteed anything.

The vote was for Friday's eviction. All housemates then being put through to the next eviction which has nothing to do with previous phone votes.

..I actually think it will be a proper eviction with someone leaving and then maybe a secret house as the twist on Friday when someone/some people will be 'replaced' by the new housemates but they'll go to a secret room and have the chance to go back...

The front door. They always do whether it's a fake eviction or not because they insist on having the front door viewable to the rest of the house.
