Imagine if it was last year... Dexter would have gone, and he has a huge fanbase

..I still think it will maybe be Chris or Christopher who might be going but I guess we still don't know for sure how it will all work with the DR nominations they've made..Ashleigh could still go...

I imagine what'll happen is BB will announce the HMs who are "up for eviction" this week, based on yesterday's nominations, then ask the group, face-to-face, to decide to evict one of them right there and then.

I'd be amazed if it wasn't Marlon.

Who gives a crap. BB are pushing Rylans Homosexual friend mark over the winning line and he is yet to get one bad edit. I find him creepy and why he is in there amongst so called powerful people is beyond me. He acts like a premenstrual teen on crack with attitude.

This year is a blatant BB manipulated year and not one of them deserves to win.If one of these newbees is remotely normal and nice, |i will put them on a voting speed dial

And I wouldn't have minded Dexter going as long as it wasn't Gina

IMO it's totally wrong. They might get away with it if it's Marlon, but if it were someone like Ashleigh, topping the popularity polls as she is, they'd really be screwing themselves over.

How can you say people decide who wins, when one of the most popular housemates could have gone out like that? What if Chris is up there as well?

I'm still not convinced they're actually going to do that.

I can't think of anything happening in those series that didn't involve a public vote, even if the HMs had the last say. Lynne and Jade got the most votes. Makosi and Vanessa did. And Gerry and Carole.

we decide nothing....I f the evicted tonight is a prods fav, they will be sent to a secret room. If its a dork like marlon, he will go. They decide the running order not us. All we are there for is the vote money and the viewing figures that are suffering in light of very bad management.

they've completely taken away live feed
they've brought in celebrities for a film night and are planning to do this again
they've allowed housemates to leave the house for trolley dashes, magic tricks and even tour rehearsals
they've allowed family and friends to get physically close with housemates
they've given half the prize fund to someone who should have been thrown out weeks back
they've brought in professional stylists and hairdressers for makeovers

etc, etc, etc

THESE are the real issues and it is perfectly understandable to moan about them. but people instead wanna get up in arms because, just for one week, housemates get to decide who leaves. get some perspective. people are acting as if the public vote has been completely scrapped.

Though it is true to say that in every one of those scenarios the person with the most votes did not get evicted.

Also, a lot of Ashleigh fans spent money on Jale last week, If Ashleigh were to go now and the fans get no say in the matter, what was the point?

That isn't valid enough for them to complain though, with vote to evict they are safe to do this if they want to.

No one spent any money to save anyone only evict.

Head to head is no different to a vote to save.

It wasn't head to head though there was 4 up, it was only head to head for the last part of the voting and even then it wasn't vote to save, which covers the producers back with any twists like this.

I'm not saying it's right but the point that people voted to evict Jale to save Ashleigh is invalid because they still voted to evict someone and that someone left the house.

Like I've always said.. Big brother should never take away the power of eviction from the public.. Takes away the main part of the show and is a very risky move.. I don't like it!

Not really. Everyone knows there was a campaign to save Ashleigh by voting out Jale. And even if it was a head to head for a short while it was still a head to head and people were saving Ashleigh.

I'm not saying it's right but the point that people voted to evict Jale to save Ashleigh is invalid because they still voted to evict someone and that someone left the house.

Of course it's not invalid. People clearly did vote that way for that reason.

It is invalid, it makes no difference at all if there was a campaign I really don't know how you can deny this...people paid money to evict someone and she was evicted it's as simple as that.

Ofcom would not take complaints like 'I voted to evict Jale to save Ashleigh and she was evicted a few days later' seriously at all.

I agree, unless a housemate is removed for constant rule breaking or some offence against another housemate, then no one other than the public by voting should evict any housemate anytime otherwise.

Totally agree, some of the main rules in BB must remain like HM only leaving the show as a result of the public vote.

Take that away then the show itself is damaged as there are literally no rules and BB can do anything it wants and make up the rules as it goes along to keep HM in the show that are attracting high viewing figures.

This make a mockery of the show and at that point it really is time to call it a day.

Yep, I think it's going to be Chris or Christopher too.
Others have slated Steven this week but I really don't think any housemate will have the guts to stand up & nominate him.
Chris or Christopher are the easy target, maybe with Danielle.
It's a shame coz we the viewer have had all the big decisions (Jale being nominated every week & Helen's pass) just taken away from us.
The thing the show was based on-viewer control is reducing every week.
Steven should go, I like most hate him but the quieter HM's will go instead.
Kim is also safe, they are too scared to nominate her coz of Steven.
No HM will nominate Ash because of Helen.
They know/think Mark is loved so he is safe.
Winston is wallpaper, does nothing wrong or interesting so he won't get a single vote. Ashleigh is in with Helen now :yuk: so is probably safe.
So it will be down to Marlon, Chris, Christopher & Danielle.

People would never organise a voting campaign like that again, knowing that it could just be shot full of holes without a further public vote. Voting campaigns like that make them A LOT OF MONEY. Ergo, this "eviction" is not going to happen.

I'm not up in arms about it, I personally don't care if it happens... In fact, I think it would be quite interesting if it did. It just... Won't :joker:

Big Brother revealed that THEY would decide who was evicted from the house on Friday night, before the three new faces joined the main house.

It followed Big Brother announcing earlier in the evening that ALL of the current housemates – except finalist Helen Wood – would be facing eviction this week.

As far as they’re still concerned, it’ll be the public voting and deciding the eviction result.

But in a further twist, not all of the newbies are here to stay with us viewers voting to decide which two remain in the house.

The one with the fewest votes will get the boot on Friday in what will be a double eviction.
