What is it with all these girls that they seem to hate the colour of their own skin, be it white, black or in between

I wouldnt mind if any of them could apply it properly, but looking at their hands makes me want to throw up

I never got the orange thing, everyone is always mocked because of it but people still do it, why? who thinks it's nice? it baffles me. That and collagen lip implants, it's not a good look, why do they do it? why why why?

I do have a natural tan at the moment after my recent holiday but use fake tan a lot in winter, just to add to my look in an outfit but I have been using it before it was invented (foundation on my legs in the early 80's)

the trick is, not to apply 99 layers, just one will do if done right, and avoid spray tans at all cost cause they are all **** and leave runny marks all over you

also using a sponge or application tool is wrong, your hands are the best things to use but when you apply one leg, wash your hands, then do another, leg, wash your hands etc etc

if you dont wash your hands in between each bodypart, then your hands will look like sh.t!

the one layer, slightly tanned look can be very nice

the orange Tango man look is very skanky and makes you look like you need a good wash!

Yeah a nice tan of course is lovely, I've gotten tan myself for weddings and that but not layers and layers of orange, just a healthy glow

I don't tan much naturally so I don't bother with the fake stuff because it really would look fake on me..

I work in a major high street health & beauty chain though and the amount of that stuff we sell is unbelievable.. and it ain't cheap.

I have always used Ambre Solaire, if you ask me, the more expensive, the worse it looks on

I use tan injections they give you an even colour and you don't have to ruin your skin by sitting outside in the sun perfect.

I always think it's hard to find a girl pretty when she's covered in fake tan (and tonnes of make-up). It just looks a little bizarre. How can you find someone attractive when they're coloured in?! :shrug:

I've never understood any of it, but i fear i'm one of those women left who doesn't do the tan, the nails, the hair, the full face make-up (i wear just a bit of foundation and mascara), heck i admit it i even hate the whole shaving thing, and waxing:shocked:tooooo painful!

I try to be au naturel and my husband doesn't complain so...who cares!
