After being dropped by Channel 5, Big Brother finally returns home to Channel 4 after four years away.

In this project, I plan to design the eye, adverts and the house. First up is the eye:

Here is some adverts which I created. They would be used in magazines, on busses, billboards and bus shelters.

Big Brother 16 would see BBUK's largest ever advertising campaign, to promote the show making a return to the channel it came from.

Big Brother
Big Brother and Davina McCall return to Channel 4 after a four year absence. Highlight shows are now 75 minutes long instead of 60, so viewers can get a bit more action, with less editing.
Eviction shows have moved to Thursdays this year, and will last 90 minutes.

Monday: 9 pm - 10:15 pm
Tuesday: 9 pm - 10:15 pm
Wednesday: 9 pm - 10:15 pm
Thursday: 9 pm - 10:30 pm
Friday: 9 pm - 10:15 pm
Saturday: 9 pm - 10:15 pm

Big Brother's Little Brother
Also making a return is Big Brother's Little Brother. It is to be presented by Emma Willis and newbie Nick Grimshaw. Each show's duration is 60 minutes.

Wednesday: 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm
Thursday: 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm

Emma Willis and Davina McCall will alternate as host, presenting the talk show every night straight after the main show, lasting 45 minutes, and 60 minutes after evictions.

Imagine how heartbreaking for Emma it would be to have been promoted from Spin-off to main show, and then back to spin-off..

Don't like the idea of evictions being on Thursday. It's a strange day to have the eviction? Sunday could be good if you really wanted to change. Also, Big Mouth should be longer on eviction night really, not shorter. More time with the evictee. Why is there no show on Friday?

It would be risky putting BBLB at 7pm on a Saturday too, considering the competition it might face on ITV etc. If anything it should be on earlier in the day.

Thanks, I was considering Sunday for evictions, but I don't think it would get as many viewers due many people having to get up early on Mondays. I chose Thursdays as not as many people go out Thursday nights as they do on Fridays.

Big Mouth is 15 minutes longer on eviction nights, and as for no show on Friday - I forgot to add it, so I'll go back and do that now.

Firstly C4 would ditch the C5 eye.

Secondly what's the point in longer highlights shows - if anything they need to be made shorter, or preferably less frequent. An hour a night is too much of a commitment now to grow the audience - so I'd either cut back the number of shows or the duration of the shows. 50 minutes was about perfect during BB5 and BB6 - let them cover more than they could previously but weren't so long that they were desperate for content and threw anything in, or had to linger on arguments. Restoring the live feed is the option for unedited action from the house.

I suspect you'd find that the copyright for ANY interpretation of the C5 eye belongs to C5/Endemol. Still doesn't excuse the morons who just lift other peoples work and pass it off as their own though.

It's my first project. What font do you recommend?

I'd reccomend a smooth, modern san serif. Here's a few suggestions.
C4 Headline- As you're doing a C4 mock, i'd suggest you use their font.
Gotham- Eh, I'd say give this a try, but it may give your mock too much of a C5 feel.
Helvetica- Nice and Simple.
DIN- A beautiful font, used by Channel 4 from 1999-2005. Last used for BB5; but the font still is a modern favourite today.

The Car is back! On launch night, it emerges from a cloud of smoke, containing new housemates. On eviction nights, the car will transport Davina and the latest evictee to the indoor studio (just down the road).

There are two screens, which will display graphics and footage from the house.

A long, curved stage acts as a presenting platform for Davina, aswell as a way in and out of the house for housemates.

The stairs have gone, replaced by a BB5 style ground floor entrance. The door is what used to be on the Channel 5 eye stage. Also, the barbed wire is back!

I know i have not completed this in detail, but i hope you get the general idea. This was my first time doing something like this.

It looks awesome. The Channel 5 Big Brother set is in dire need of a change.

Better advertising is a necessity for Big Brother to stay alive in my opinion, along with some kind of way to restore the faith in it because the show is a joke to most people. So I do like that.

I'm not a huge fan of the eye, it looks kinda similar to the Power Trip one especially with the colour scheme. Also, really wouldn't want to see Rylan dropped from the franchise completely. In some of the posters the images are also a bit blurry and the one with Emma in it is poorly cropped. And I never have liked the car!! It doesn't need to return! But the eviction studio is very nice

I do however, like the idea of Davina returning and would also not mind seeing a 75 minute highlight show along with a 24/7 livefeed. The glowiness of the titles eye is nice too.
