Chris is by far my favourite HM. Very dry sense of humour, and very entertaining in the Diary Room. Have a look at his video on you tube ''seeking carmella' very very funny. http://goo.gl/oM41MI

I've not warmed to him... Anyone else see his slightly weird friend sticking up for him on BBOTS a week of so ago? He might be the most 'average' guy in there (I'm not so sure but he might be) but others entetain me more.

Its between Ashleigh and Chris for the win for me. Chris seems so...normal. When hes speaking about the others, he seems to mirror my views completely too.

He is defo an amazing HM. He has played the game to a tee. He is an Aaron but an Ugly one at that, but he knows the game and has played it well.

Will he win, no he wont, he cant, he is ugly and boring and most of what he does flies over the heads of the vast majority of the voters )mostly chavs) so he cant and wont win, end of. Trust the Oracle and back Winston. Never bet with your heart, bet with you head.

More likely to win because he's ugly. The likes of Winston never win. The only reason Jay was the runner up was because the other housemates were so appalling.

Not everyone likes confrontation

Exactly! He's very perceptive, insightful, and articulate. That said, he's under no obligation to apply his insights in-person to everyone and try to persuade them that he's right, especially considering the intelligence gap between him and most of the others. Some of them are also rather quick to anger. Why do something that's likely to lead to a horrible fight?

How many ugly winners have we had in your opinion then?

I don't think I can even think of one :S

Can think of a couple who were good looking (or classed as that with the majority of viewers) though

Nothing wrong in not being confrontational, he doesn't need to rant and rave, he's a true gent and a lovely man

Craig, Cameron, Nadia, Belo and Luke A were hardly "lookers"

Those winners were a hell of a lot better looking than Chris, come on please.

Craig I found hot actually :hehe:

Belo was hardly bad looking either

The majority of winners have been goodlooking...and people usually moan that the goodlooking ones are more likely to win solely for their looks. Its a bit odd to see the opposite argument happening

I honestly don't think Chris is as bad looking as people make out. And for me, he more than makes up for his lack of 'pretty boy' in personality.

I think he just looks quite plain when besides the likes of Ash and Winston

They do, but it's actually in the early weeks when people resent the popularity of the likes of Winston.

Yup...in what world that transcribes to ugly I don't know. Hes just the guy next door.

In Big Brother world where he's compared to Ash, obviously he is.

But I do think hiss average looks are likely to help him win.

Vicky.
19-07-2014, 04:06 PM
I think the complete opposite, his average looks may hinder him. I can't see past a Winston win. I wouldn't be bothered by that as he seems a cool guy, but the teen girls(who the show seems to be marketed towards these days) are more likely to vote him than Chris. Whereas adults are more likely to vote on personality than looks, the teen vote *may* sway it.

Why? His polling is terrible at the moment and it always has been average. They are a good reflection of how things are going to go.

Teenage girls have never ever decided the winner. Middle aged women do.

Oh GOD no.

People who vent in the diary room and turn into a mute in the house are NOT amazing housemates.

For all you know, every one of those HMs could be spilling truths in the DR like that every single day, however, they just choose not to air it. Chris is...boring. Ugh.

Not conventionally attractive but I wouldn't call them ugly.

4 out of 14, the other 10 being not bad looking at all.

Everyone seems to say the better looking people do better than the others on this show so trying to switch it around is quite amusing.

So, perception of other housemates is down to editing and things not being shown but Chris is a "boring mute"? It can't be that his conversations are left on the cutting room floor because he doesn't fall about drunk, get into arguments or crawl up anyone's backside?

But the teenage girl vote, if they are solely voting with their fanny, could be split with others, eg Ash. Previous shows of Big Brother gives me faith that a Chris or Ashleigh can win and it won't just be "hot guy wins cos of the girls"

Actually, yes.

If you're not getting into arguments or getting drunk, or generally doing anything to stir up the house, you're a bad, boring HM and a waste of space.

How do we also know that Chris isn't a huge douche? For all we know, he could be trashing other HMs and being rude, but its all down to editing, isn't it?

Sam won last year....Chris has so much more potential than the sympathy vote...
I know he seems an unlikely winner but Aaron won against all odds (bless him)....so so can Chris....or Ashleigh :cheer2:

I wish people could be mature enough to see past the sympathy vote like Sam...and the good looking vote (ash or Winston) and choose a winner for his integrity and game playing....Chris is a deserved winner...he HAS held his tongue to an extent but you have to have some admiration and understanding of more reserved people who don't like confrontation.
However he sums people up so well in the diary room...who is he to say that others people.shouldnt react in a certain wa? He is just making his own judgement like we do.

Chris or Ashleigh to win...:cheer2::cheer2::cheer2:
