Last night on bbots I felt that Bianca was given far to easier time over her
behaviour in the house, particularly over the way she spoke to Winston. It looked as if they were condoning sleazy behaviour because she was female.
I wonder if they would have been the same with a male housemate behaving the same way with female housemates. Given that Alison earlier in the week tried to make the same point with no success, it shouldnt have been a surprise but it was. I just dont like double standards, no matter what the gender of the housemate is, or whether I like them or not.:conf:

This series has had the biggest load of double standards.....ever!

So many that it's actually a joke and i think the men may have to burn their undies for their right to equality!

She's a goby foul mouthed trashy human being....whatever you tell her she will never see herself as being in the wrong. People like her and Helen thing being yourself being honest saying it as it is...is totally excusable...they will never accept their behaviour as being lewd and rude.
Vile people who have never been taught morals or manners.

Exactly!

I've never understood this 'i tell it to your face nonsense' and people think of it as a positive trait, when actually it's rude and unnecessary, i believe in honesty, but to be vile and nasty and then pass it off as 'just tellin you as it is' crap, is beyond me, you're right they've never been taught morals or manners and how to behave in social situations.

Rude people nowadays have a ready-made excuse for their behaviour : "I tell it like it is and in yer face".

They are usually failures.
