It seems now Danielle has gone Chris will not be the target this week.
The house won't win though. I really don't think Chris will go on VTE unless he does something like kick a puppy.
I really hat the "Pack mentality" in that house.
Every week it's someone getting the hate.
Christopher would be it if he were not protected by his friendship with Mark.
I was liking Pav until this. He is kind of stupid doing this. Going in with the knowledge of what the public think, he has saved Steven & now has a grudge against Chris.
Pav won't last long now.

Pav thinks he playing a good game by going with the easy option to avoid being nominated. Public opinion is what matters Pav! Show some F'in balls and just say Helen. Who cares if she gets the hump, just make an excuse and say you had to choose someone different  Idiot he is

To be honest it could have been a good game move. Public opinion is what matters yeah, but from the boos last night Pav already knows he's not that popular (though I think he should be personally! I'm enjoying him so far). So if he picked one of the big group, they are all more likely to nominate him, get him up this week, and with the boos and lack of a strong fanbase there's a chance he'd be out. However, picking Chris could mean he's less likely to be nominated so not up for eviction, and giving him more time to develop a fanbase before he is up for eviction, making him more likely to stay.

I reckon it's more likely that he was just **** scared of saying one of the big group ha, but he did say Stephen was the one he least liked in the Open Up task the other day, so maybe not.

Sadly the 3 big guns in Helen, Ash, and Ashleigh will be completely snubbed by the public once the final two is Chris vs Mark.

He wasn't going to admit what he said to Biannca until she pulled him up on it.

Ohh I thought by "admit" you meant once he's confronted about it, not just confronting people himself.

Yeah I do agree Chris's downfall is that I wish he'd tell people what he thought. Although sometimes I do think it'd be unnecessary to start confrontation, and I get why he says stuff in the DR instead of to the person.

With the Biannca situation though, I would have loved him to tell her he thought it was wrong to spread gossip about Danielle at the time, or at least had more conviction in his opinion when she confronted him about it. He's clearly just nervous about starting arguments, but there are times when bitches need to be told!

No, he comes across condescending, highly judgemental and snobbish. A nice bloke would try and see past people's flaws and get along with them.

Without even getting to know Biannca he was all "she makes Helen look like the Virgin Mary". Yet people want to condemn Helen for calling him out? Lol.

I wouldn't worry Chuff...Chris is going to win anyway....and the reason that Pav chose Chris is simply "GamePlaying"!...He knows how popular Chris is on the outside, and has reasoned that he'd better try and chip away at that popularity in order to stand a chance of getting the crown himself...Winston , Christopher and Mark will be in his sights too!
....It's the very reason that he got rid of Danielle yesterday...there would have been no point evicting one of the weaker competitors such as Steven or Ashleigh would there!
.....But Chris' strength of character is strong enough to endure whatever the likes of Pav and Helen can throw at him! :smug:

..great post Ruby..'gossiping' is a release and something everyone does because we all need to release things at times and I would think no more so in that pressure cooker environment..sometimes in the DR and sometimes to another housemate etc but being spiteful and hurtful to people just because you have no awareness of their feelings is something entirely different and a very unpleasant characteristic with someone....people who do that, often hate when it's done to them though.....

The motivation for keeping calm and avoiding Helen in drunk or 'hurt me' type coments is obvious, it is difficult enough living with Helen with out being a target of her 'you effing bas-tard' to everyone in the house.

So two faced, maybe, but most would be just to protect themselves from that grating irritating whale of a mouth of Helens.

Well good luck with it as it seems likely to happen imo.

I'm gonna do my nomination predictions this week to see who looks like that they'll go up for eviction this week if anyone's interested.

Ash - Ashleigh & Chris
Ashleigh - Ash & Winston
Chris - Steven & Winston
Christopher - Winston & Steven
Helen - Ashleigh & Chris
Mark - Ashleigh & Ash
Pav - Chris & Steven
Steven - Ashleigh & Chris
Winston - Ashleigh & Chris
Zoe - Chris & Pav

Ash - 2 Nominations
Ashleigh - 5 Nominations
Chris - 6 Nominations
Christopher - 0 Nominations
Helen - Immune
Mark - 0 Nominations
Pav - 1 Nomination
Steven - 3 Nominations
Winston - 3 Nominations
Zoe - 0 Nominations

Left normal it's an Ashleigh vs Chris eviction. If it's 2 nominations or more and you're up then it will be an Ash vs Ashleigh vs Chris vs Steven vs Winston eviction.

Not so much a coward, just playing the game to what he thinks was his benefit.

Might give him a favour for a week or so with the so-called call kids, but not long term and certainly not with many of the GBP.

But for an extra week, wise play.

For long term, stupid play.

For long term play, directly and openly taking on Helen on a daily basis would be the sensible option. Buy I don't think he has the balls for that. You'd have to treat the whole experience like going off to war, because it would be a daily battle and a very uncomfortable place to live :joker:.

I don't think it's about balls, but Helen is just a weak and aggressive person. She's like a dying animal fighting off anyone who comes near her. She won't listen to anyone, so there's no point being completely direct with her. No matter how big your balls are, it's a fruitless exercise. The only way to live with her is to just be cordial and tiptoe around her because anything will set her off.

I don't actually think many of the housemates are that two-faced; Danielle was one of the biggest ones. Everyone in the house mainly maintains a friendly and polite relationship with people they don't like or get on with and bitch/vent to BB or their close friends in the house. That does not make people two faced, it makes them human. These so-called 'tell it to your face' people are like Helen above, weak and aggressive. It's a territorial move to scare off others and is not honest or ballsy. In turn, Chris shows more strength in keeping himself restrained and trying to see past the negative aspects of these people and be friendly with all of them. Most of them are hypocritical, however, as they say that they're always direct and upfront and then go bitch behind people's backs and then get defensive when someone else bitches about them. Chris has never said he doesn't bitch, every time he has he goes 'now I'm joining in with the bitching'. He is genuinely a nice guy, but that doesn't mean he doesn't have bad things to say about people because he's human as well. We don't see many of other people's DR rants/opinions, likely due to the fact they're not as articulate or amusing as Chris's and/or because they're probably bitching to their friends about the same things already.

I know this isn't the Chris is two-faced thread, but I feel it's relevant here as well :P

I quite like Chris. I think he's not into confrontation because how on earth could you win with these people? Try to bring up something in conversation and they're (the majority) apt to rip his head off. I'd be very much like him...be civil and pleasant with everyone, stay away from drama, say what I really feel in the DR. Tho the DR isn't even a safe place anymore *sigh*

For long term play, directly and openly taking on Helen on a daily basis would be the sensible option. Buy I don't think he has the balls for that. You'd have to treat the whole experience like going off to war, because it would be a daily battle and a very uncomfortable place to live :joker:.

..yeah I agree, that would be just too much for anyone because it wouldn't just be taking on Helen on a daily basis which would be exhausting enough and you would have to have an armoured vehicle to protect you from her barrage of abuse..it would also be isolating yourself from her gang as well..I think the most we can hope for is that housemates occasionally stand up to her when she's at her worst and being awful to someone and credit to any of them who do...Ash is the one who I have the littlest of respect for because he's just been so happy to coast his time in her shadow and offered very little ion his own right....
