I didn't really think it was meant to be Helen's decision though.. It was meant to be Mark's decision. Both Ashleigh and Ash are his friends.

I also found it weird when Helen said "Pick Ash, he'd pick you".. Ashleigh would pick Mark too? And she'd pick him before Ash would (Ashleigh would pick Chris and Christopher over Mark, Ash would pick Winston Helen and Steven)
