It's nice that she's brought him out of himself, he seems a really nice guy.

Chris has lost about two stone in there.
Yes but its harmless and respectful from both.Watching it will not upset her boy friend or mum.
Some HMs appear to have no consideration for the hurt caused to family who will be watching. These two do.
Some of stevens behaviours must have done so if not to his mum then certainly his granny.Helen has a 14yo son who will be watching and perhaps even worse his mates will be.?

Yoda Chris and Padawan Princess Ashleigh :cheer2:
How great would it be if Steven is evicted on Friday Chris says to him at the steps "if so powerful you are, why leave?"

"I always make a point to talk to Pretty girls"
And then he goes off on a tangent on the reason being anything other than them looking nice :joker:

I just think he has an innocent crush on her.
In a strange way I think he admires Ashleigh.
It's the most genuine friendship in there.

I think Chris is old / intelligent enough to simply have a platonic appreciation of her, both aesthetically and as a person. You don't have to have a crush on / be flirting with someone to realise that they are attractive, and I personally think people (especially in Britain) are far too shy about showing that, most BECAUSE they're worried that people will then think that they "fancy that person" or want anything to happen with them.
For example, I have absolutely no sexual inclination for other males, at all. Not even a hint of bi-curiosity. But I can still appreciate the male physical form and when another male is "good looking". But wouldn't be able to say that to them as they (and others) would likely think I'm after some bumfun. Which is really sad, when you think about it. If everyone was more open about just saying to each other, without agenda, "I just think you're awesome", people in general would be much happier!
In fact, I'm going to text / FB some friends right now, just to tell them what I like about them :D.

I like how some people genuinely believe that if Ashleigh was single at some point in the future, Chris would refuse anything she asked of him. Really?

Clearly not flirting. It's a misleading video title, as usual. They're friends; it's lovely.

Chris needs to be careful here as he doesn't want that Jale attack being used on him again, plus Ashleigh's got a boyfriend which even I know is wrong and I lack most boundaries lol.

Excellent, thought-provoking post. We should all be able to appreciate those of our own gender, without the finger being pointed at an ulterior motive. I think Chris genuinely values and respects his friendship with Ashleigh, and recognises that it is probably a friendship worth pursuing outside of the house too.

..good post TS, I think there's often that thing and maybe especially in reality TV ..?...that if a 'connection' is seen, that the expected thing is a romantic thing when people can feel deeply connected/bond with someone but in a purely platonic way and nothing more and in a BB environment I would think a bond would be something you would want just to keep you sane/have someone to share thoughts with/a 'trusted person' etc....mind you, I'm a heterosexual female but with other females I know who are gorgeous/beautiful/sexy etc, I do openly tell them so without feeling that it would be taken as any interest in them, it's just a compliment and appreciation of them as any other about their character would be, like saying ..you're kind/thoughtful etc...
