Have you ever referenced a forum member in your social life? Like in a conversation where someone mentions something and you reference someone you know but it's a forum member.

For example, say Britney Spears comes up in a conversation and then you'd say "Oh I know someone/have a friend that is obsessed with her." In this case you'd be talking about Petemitch.

So has anyone done this?

Off the top of my head I know Nathan and Stu have come up in conversation, mostly with Fowley of course. and then Eoin after i introduced him to all my friends at Oxegen :laugh:

I've done this a million times. Not in recent years but I grew up with the internet and contstantly being on forums so in primary and high school I would always talk about my forum friends to my irl friends. When I think back to my old forum friends I can see what they look like in my head as if I was actually, physically interacting with them.
