View Full Version : Ash The guy isn't really doing anything wrong...

Yet I'm seeing alot of hate for him in recent topics, like him not arguing against being saved!? Wth, with 2 surprise outcomes (Matthew and Jale) why on Earth should he have to sit there against Steven when the household have no idea what's going to happen, when he's been up every single week more or less. Enough with the Ash hate, if he wasn't close to Helen he'd have none of this, and it's his choice who he is friends (or more) with. :nono:

Oh well. I still don't like him.
It's ridiculous to say he's a bad guy for not protesting about being saved, who wouldn't want to be saved after facing eviction so much

Steven, Zoe and Pav all said they didn't mind. Ash was the only one who said nothing. He should have been a gentleman and said Zoe should be saved, but he's no gentleman anyway as he is Helen's bestie. That tells me all I need to know about the kind of person he is.

Least ash saved himself in a fair way
Um it's a game show with a prize at the end, no would protest against being saved, regardless of gender...

Game show where you have to try and be liked to get further (not this bb though) bb just does this and that
Game show where you have to try and be liked to get further (not this bb though) bb just does this and that
And what better way of getting further than avoiding an eviction?
Ash has a few people in the house that like him, even Ashleigh and Chris said they never wanted to put him up this time (apparently) but it's not even as if he put himself forward to be saved, Steven brought it up and he just basically stood there, Zoe and Pav agreed. Nothing wrong with that IMO.

I was being postive about ash saving himself he did it on a group vote which means not pissingg off anyone

Amazed Steven didn't save himself, I bet the producers were going insane when they chose Ash, that's the 3rd blatant manipulation that the housemates have foiled in a row. :D

I think most people feel they saw the *real* Ash ["maggot/slut-buckets/tear-u-apart" Ash] in the first couple of weeks.
Veiwers probably feel he's been masking his nastiness since he heard the boos.

some people on here may have goldfish-like memories but fortunately some of us remember what this slimey nasty piece of work was really like in his first few weeks in the house. That is the real Ash not this deliberately contrived version which is on its guard from public opinion targeting him once again.

Yes, and the same with Helen too. They have both toned down the nastiness, though Ash has had more success apparently. He's playing the game but still hasn't the personality to take the win. He's arrogant and as dull as dish water.

So he should protest for the irritant that is Zoe to stay because she's a woman? That's very sexist tbh and Astro Ash will be a hero and get to the final for all of us entertainer lovers out there.

Good chap and funny sometimes. He has been poisoned by the company he keeps and his vileness at the start

he's not that bad in my opinion, there have been a few instances where he's shown a side I don't like though (threatening matthew) and I think calling jale a 'maggot' has hung on in people's minds.

He made some stupid remarks in the first few weeks but I think he is OK...however it's his association with Helen that damages him. He likes a vile person...he likes someone who has no respect for people and has a really foul mouth and personality...on those judgments alone you have to question his morals.
If he held Chris's morals he could have won this hands down. Had he stood up to Helen like he did Toya there would be no competition.

Out of all of them he deserved to be saved the most! He's been up 6 times! Steven wants to go, Pav and Zoe are new and should face eviction....
Even Ashleigh and Chris were happy Ash saved himself as they have grown to like him :wavey:

Totally agree.
Both Ash & Helen sh*t themselves when they heard the public reaction to them. They have both since tried to be nice but every now & then their true, nasty personalities slip out.
They both have a sense of entitlement over being in the house. This really annoys me.

I actually quite like Ash and believe he hasn't had the best of edits, and hasn't really been shown doing much, he's said a few stupid things that might come across as insulting but then don't we all say things we wish we hadn't.
And he is nice to look at:)
I dislike him because he brings less to the show than the other housemates, for me, in my opinion, he is boring and I would much prefer to watch the other housemates than him.

Ash is boring and nasty imo - I still can't forgive him for his comments at the start of the show and now he is so far up Helens butt that he has lost all hope of winning. He is just relying on his looks (though personally I don't think he is all that).

He has also got along with everyone in the house and the only person he has argued with was Toya and she apologised to him before she left and they made up
I think you are right about the Helen thing, but even that shows him in a good light, as people were telling him, whenever he was up (and lets remind ourselves, he was only ever put up by Trash/Toya/Danielle/Chris/Christopher (ie. the sad crowd) to get at Helen, that Helen was the reason he was maybe gonna go
Did he stay away from her in order to avoid eviction ? NO
He stood by his own principles, even in the face of eviction, that says a lot about his character
Even Trash/Chris & Turncoat Mark said they liked him a lot, so I think the only reason Trash fans hate him is he is not doing what they want, as in having a go at *******igh/Chris.
He a lovely guy and I would like him to win!

it may look as though ash didnt argue against him being saved, but the clip has clearly been edited at least twice, so who knows what BB has axed, plus he has been up so many times he was the one most worthy of be saved, esp. as steven stressed he really wasnt bothered, prob. wants to get out to kim. and please stop dwelling on the maggot days, he has said so very little that could be deemed as offensive compared to some of the other HMs

People see what they want to see. He looked embarrassed to take the save and even asked Zoe if she was sure however many times. What was he meant to say "Nah, no thanks BB...we don't want it" or "Nah, I'm a guy. I cant take it". No one would do that

He is a slob, looking like a slob most of the time, dirty, sweaty, unshaven and gross.
Swinging along on Helens manipulation of her man coven and skirt tails, he has done little in the tasks, done little in the house and moans along with Helen terminally.
If I was his Mum, I would be concerned Helens ex boyfriend is really her ex and not just for the programme.
Look him up.

I have come to really like Ash, I don't get the dislike of him really.
People must like who they can like obviously but his choice of friends shouldn't be an issue.
I have friends who cannot stand some of my other friends but because I am friends with a mix of people then that shouldn't reflect on me at all.
At least Ash's friendship with Helen is better to watch and more real than the farce between Steven and Kimberley likely.
Ash gets into the tasks and is also interesting to listen to when he gets going chatting.

The thing that turns me off is the self-entitlement, reminding everyone constantly that he's been nominated so many times and just wants a break (when one of those weeks involved everyone being up and this week he was just saved - he hasn't been properly nominated since Week 4.) Christopher has been nominated more times than him and has taken it extremely well and doesn't insist upon himself whatsoever. That's much more admirable and likable.

If he held Chris's morals.
Nice joke... Chris is a total slime, slagging Steven off (whom I hate fyi but still) then saying how 'its not personal we really like you' and then saying how hard it was to nom Ash, when he relished it (more so than even Ashleigh) his words (as near as damn it)... 'people in here who feel their protected need to be shook up' yet there he is getting all choked and emotional and pleading to have Ash saved when it was blatantly obvious him and the witch would pick Ash.
I mean I dont even blame them for picking him (he is best friends with their least fave HM) but have the stones to stand by your decision, no as usual weaselly Chris ass licked his way out of trouble... then put on an oscar performance in the DR to garner sympathy

Helen is quite decent person zi think. She got off to a bad start, yes, but stress and emotions are strong things to deal with. She has sorted few things now and really stepped up tonight, so good on her. I find her rather truthful myself

Good observation , I agree with what you say above. She is also one of the more truthful in there overall too.
