View Full Version : Chris Didn't like his DR entry tbh
Hmm Chris is one of my favourites but I really didn't like the way he was in the DR at the end of the highlights, it came across very put on, acting up to the camera IMO

It was very fake and forced imo, him covering his face and rubbing his eyes to try and forced out a few tears was more high school play than fully fledged actor.

They all play up to the camera's - what's new. He is far less guilty than many others in there.

I got very emotional over all the housemates crying, but I was waiting for Detective Winston to reveal who died?

You're right Josy, that was pathetically contrived...Chris' game is getting weaker and weaker!...he's not as smart as I used to think he was!
.....aka...he's no Aaron Allard Morgan is he! :smug:

Mark was the actor thoes tears he put on for Helen and Steven would have won him an Oscar if it had been a movie

Feel free to make a thread about Mark, this thread was about Chris in the DR at the end of tonight's show.

I've though this since the start, he comes across very creepy and sly to me.

Yeah Lister, we already know that Mark is a sycophantic twot, but the thread is about 'Chris' crumbling game-plan'! ...so what do you reckon to his diary room cringe? ..:spin:

Chris is a slime, has been since the start, like when he tried to become the peoples champion by putting up Pauline (glad he did mind but still) since then he has done nothing but bitch behind peoples backs while cleaning their asses with his tongue. He backtracks on his supposed opinion so fast when confronted its shameful to watch (see Steven and Ash tonight)
Hes just in there for his career (as are many of them) I mean does anyone else really buy that a man of his age has anything in common with Ashleigh. No he realised she would be popular by default cause shes the anti Helen, THATS why they are friends.

Steven has taken creepy to a whole new level. Next to him the rest of them are purer than the driven snow. He tries to be sly, but is too thick to do any damage. All he ever achieves is showing us all how stupid he is.

I didn't understand it either, a few times I've seen him get emotional and I wonder if it's genuine or part of his acting :suspect: I wish I believed it were real but I'm not sure I do.

I kind of think that every emotion in the house is heightened, that's why a number of house mates say things like "I don't cry like this on the outside". There's probably only a few hm that haven't cried in the house.
So although I don't understand a lot of the crying tonight, I do believe it is genuine.
However, if c5 started crying I doubt I'd believe that...

I like Chris and I think he was emotional regarding the emotion from Ash...TBH that surprised me....why he started commending Helen for beats me..the stupid comments she made when it was all revealed... Helen was rude when she shoved Pav out of the room and they all said that...then Chris commends her for taking things in hand ...that was out of character of him unless he had too many drinks...

She apologised for being rude to Pav and was trying to stop a situation erupting with Chrismas... which was commendable tbh but the Helen hate brigade just use it as evidence of her unpleasantness.

Chris starting to over egg the pudding I think.
The end is in sight and he is upping his game.
I am all for playing the game, but not playing the viewers.

I give Chris benefit of the doubt because for all we know they all acting. Also, it is heavily edited and we don't know what conversation Chris just left before he went into the diary room. It might have been a very emotional conversation but we didn't see it.

There have a couple of times it was mentioned. One was after an eviction and one was during the puppet task. Viewers wont have a clue unless they watch all the uploads and read the daily happenings and even then are still only seeing 6% of what happens in there per day. That 6% is for ALL housemates, so we see even less of each individual housemate.
The whole episode confused me tbh

I didn't understand his nice comment about Helen or the other housemates because they acted horribly :/ I guess they did that all behind his back.
I choose to believe that any emotion shown is genuine because emotions would be ridiculously heightened in there. They might cry over silly things, but their whole world has been that house for the last 50 days. And even if they're not close to each other, they've been stuck in that house with those people for 50 days and they would probably still feel guilty about nominating and whatnot (especially when it's PH nominating rather than regular nominations). It did all seem strange, but we don't see a lot of what goes on in there.

I think he was genuine with his feelings. I mean, they've been bitching so much in there. Every time they start to bond as a house things end up going bad. This was a prime opportunity were BB was going to stir things up and I think Chris was surprised by the outcome. Helen seemed to be helping calm things down tonight versus stirring them up. She was pretty level headed and told them to keep what they heard to themselves. I think that's what he meant about liking 'this' Helen. She could have easily used what the 3 PH's heard to run around the house bashing both the newbies to everyone.
Ashleigh also seemed genuinely upset in her discussion with Ash about why she nominated him, as well as Ash's reaction to her being upset seemed genuine.
It probably felt refreshing to see people actually kinda caring about each other rather then having the twist this week turn into another reason to bash and hate on each other.

I got the impression he was being highly sarcastic. Just like his 'Thankyou Steven' when Steven was ranting at them.

I thought it was totally genuine - living in that house must be a nightmare without all the twists and turns going on. Given he had just been revealed as being in the power alliance and all the fall out from that I'm not surprised it got to him - it would have the same effect on me. It really annoyed me on BBBOTS that they were saying it was acting and fake - reminded me of the way they used to comment on Aaron - nasty.
