Just my thoughts on Kims interview tonight on BOTS. Firstly I thought it was so funny when she came down the stairs wearing the bump as of course many people had speculated she might be pregnant.

Secondly despite people baying on here for the cause of her illness she has every right not to disclose it if its a personal matter. She said she had been sick all week and Helen and Steven had been good to her. Its a pity and I have said this on another thread that the highlights shows that week didn't show any of this and of course by the time she had to get medical attention all the highlights shows had been screened and edited. In all honesty if I had to leave the house because I was ill I don't think I would want to tell the whole country or whoever watches big brother what was wrong with me

Thirdly Emma didn't do a good interview, she stumbled over her words, seemed to be sitting on the edge of her seat and could have asked more questions in the time allotted

Im very disappointed that Kim seems to want to have a relationship with Steven but she said she has sorted things with Sacha so I guess she is free to do it. I loved her from the day she entered the house, was hugely disappointed in her relationship with Steven but I always stick with my favourite housemate through thick and thin so I wish her the very best for the future.

And incidentally I don't think she is gunning for magazine deals etc. If they are offered to her I am sure she wont turn them down but she will obviously still have her modelling job and some law firm seem to have expressed an interest in her also

But I think Emma Willis did a good job of interviewing Kimberly and dared
mention OPEN IT twice! during the program.In fact,she asked KIMBERLY WHAT IT MEANT.

I've got mixed feelings about Steven Goode,and I generally like him - there
could be jelousy among male Big Brother fans that he is in a full relationship

Great thread, Riona, I agree with pretty much every point you brought up. Kimberly was my favorite housemate this season too, and I thought she carried herself rather gracefully in the interview

I thought she came across as the same robotic, scheming cash hunter that we know and are indifferent to!
For her to claim that she didn't think Steven was controlling in the house and act all "i don't know what you're talking about!!!?" was just weak!!! She even tried to say that she didn't know what " being ladylike" meant!

She's either faking it or she has REALLY strange taste in men and i'm going with the former!
I bet she's praying for Steven's eviction on Friday so they can fulfill that no-doubt already booked OK Magazine interview. That'll be a riveting read i'm sure! Steven might even allow Kim to answer one of the questions (once he's instructed her what to say of course!).

I originally had high hopes for Kim as a housemate but quickly realized i needed to re-asses my expectations of what to expect from her as a housemate.
Apart from the fact that she obviously has very little self-respect and also very little respect for her family and (ex?) boyfriend we really know no more about Kim now than we did when we first saw her on launch night.:shrug:

And she ended her Big Brother experience just the same way! A poor attempt at making it look like something other than her quitting and leaving via the back door! I mean what was the whopper of a lie about Helen being the only person other than Steven who realized just how 'ill' she was and the way Helen cared for her while she was ill. Helen's on film saying that she didn't even know that Kim was supposedly ill until she left the house!

It's just a shame that one of the evicted housemates could still be in there if Kim had just waited 24 hours and been evicted properly. The timing on her behalf was uncanny!

I suppose her and Steven are pretty well suited when all is said and done but i'd still be amazed if they're still a couple by Christmas time!:nono:

She conveniently side stepped every question we all wanted to know and her maths suck. 4 days on the drip but feeling poorly only 2 days and yesterday talking to the papers when she was on a drip, doesn't add up. Plus also the BB doctors should be reported to Ofcom for trying to make a sick woman go back into the house to be gawped at when she was sick. LOL.

JTM and loads of others are right, she walked and tried to cover it up with BS actions and a pretend being sick so she could do exactly what she is doing now, sensationalising her situation to rack up the brownie points and a ''KERCHING DAY'' when his nibs gets evicted. They are both liars and social misfits and deserve each other. Well for as long as the money is coming in then its bye bye, where is Sasha and all is forgiving.

I have to commend you on the post above.

I agree with all you say, I liked Kimberley and still do but I do question her judgement as to being involved with Steven.
However that is for her to decide and good and bad live with the results.

I agree,Emma did a very poor interview with her really and her entrance as you said was really funny.

It is a pity,I agree again, we didn't see Steven and Helen showing concern for her when she felt ill in the house and I am pleased she made that point in the interview too.

Furthermore, I totally agree, whatever her illness was, it was bad enough to have her in hospital for a few days and that is her right not to discuss it if she so wishes.

There were times I felt she came over a bit cold, espcially when they played the phone line vt of Sacha,however I wish her well in the future and still hope shes ees through Steven and gets away from him.

Really great thread and opening post rionablue with fair and balanced points all through it too.

The annoying thing about Emma is she asks a question and then before the interviewee has the chance to respond in full she cuts in and puts her slant on things.


As for Kimberly, she looks a little lost, a little bewildered. I think she thinks she is onto a good thing and maybe there is some feelings there, it's hard to tell, but for sure they are going to milk this one for all it's worth.

As for Steven, yeah, he's deluded and illusions of grandeur. If the company house records are correct she is in for a big disappointment but hey, that's what life is all about, you get thrown these curve balls and you have to deal with them.

She seems shrewd under that cold facade, so she will know exactly what she is letting her self in for and she must know by now he isn't as minted as he proclaims to be.

I liked Kim on initial appearance, but she quickly fell in my estimation.

She shouldn't have had an interview as she walked, i don't believe for a second she was ill, she knew she was going on Friday and decided to take it into her own hands and just leave.

To be honest it wouldn't surprise me if Steven had persuaded her to leave, to prime the outside of their undying love, to get some magazine deals, to make some money, to turn the outsides opinion of him around and to make it possible for him to win BB, a long shot by anyones standards, but then he is deluded, a fantasist and has an ego bigger than the earth!

The old hag Ma Goode is running the show now. She has obviously prompted Kimberly because Kimberly stayed away from every question that could have given anything away. Kimberly has probably been shown Ma Goode's birthday pics with all the celebs there, but does she know she paid for them to appear.

Hopefully Steven is saved this week so the rag mags cool off and loose interest and the Kerching dings are not as loud.

I wasn't hating on her I was speaking the truth. She does have money but not financially secure that she can retire from modelling, she going to get modelling jobs still just like hazel has had post show, plus big brother said there is a job offer out there in the legal profession, she choices in what next beyond just being with steven.

I agree with you about Toya and Pauline, i really can't stand them!!!

But i am cynical and really don't believe she was ill. She sounded fine on the phone, she was given a clean bill of health to go back into the BB house, she chose not to go back in.

No-one knows if she was really ill or not unless they were actually there, and for her to claim that Helen helped look after her, when Helen didn't even realise she was ill says it all, along with the fact that she took personal belongings out with her showed she had no intention of going back in.

I do believe that she knew she was going and really couldn't face the public, she's close ties to Steven and would be a fool if she really thought she'd survive eviction.

She looked gorgeous last night, massive heels on she looked positively healthy. I've suffered tummy troubles and believe me when it flares up, you know about it and you do not look great because it hurts so much.
