I've launched it across the room in a rage. I cannot sleep, it's far too humid. I'm a fan of the heat but we need the nights to cool down (or I need to invest in air con). :(

But the less it cools down at night the warmer the next day is. Usually.

Fans are generally **** when too hot though, they just blow the warm air around. That's worse.

I would have the fans on every year, this year haven't bothered as wanted to experiment to see if it makes any difference, and it is actually cooler as the fans just circulate the warm air. I have one ceiling fan going on low speed in the back room where computer is and one small fan in the bedroom at night and one in front of my exercise bike to keep me cooler when on there in this weather and the difference is amazing, so much so that I might just get rid of the rest of my fans I have. I bought half a dozen fine mist bottles from amazon for £1.99p and use these to keep cool as well as just a hand fan now and again, plus just drink plenty of water.

But why Ben do you still have a duvet on your bed? won't that just make you sweat anyways? I just have a sheet over me at nights in this weather and sleep in the nude.
