The vast majority of members share considered views and reasoning even when disagreeing. The lack of keyboard warriors gives confidence to continue posting.

I only started watching BB from this series and thought I'd join the forum to have somewhere to discuss it and I've also been pleasantly surprised at how thoughtful all the members are. I normally can't be bothered with forums because of how crazed people can get, but even when there are serious disagreements I feel that everyone really keeps their head and is respectful. It's also very surprising considering the stigma around the audience of Big Brother. If BB continues after this series, I'll watch it purely because I've enjoyed discussing this series on here.

I agree with all the above - it's really good to see it was a positive thread about the forum.

BB is an interactive show and the TV program is only half the experience. A forum like this one makes it a full rounded experience. I love seeing what everyone thinks, no matter if you agree or not - it's great how we all come together like this and share it.

.....I have had my share of crossed words with people, and even been barred a time or two. [unfairly of course!]...but on the whole, it's a great place to spend some time!!...In fact, it's like going out to a favourite hostelry to chat to friends! :thumbs:

..that's great to hear Mick, we have most interests fairly much covered on the forum and if we haven't then you can create a new thread about yours for people to join in and then you can get excited for the build up of BB season every year with us as well...we both fear and love it in equal measures..:laugh:...

I have noticed one thing that has changed this year though. The mods are jumping on trolls quicker and are removing threads and posts much quicker this year which will piss the trolls off big time, so well done mods.

For what its worth I always enjoy reading your posts.RE trolls and abusive posters well done the mods.Zero tolerance would suit me because a tiny minority of keyboard warriors can make some members reluctant to post and without posts we have no forum.

Hi Cherie I was not aware that I had been a lurker since 2012 :laugh: I think I may have joined here but then started posting on another BB forum and not looked at this one at the time.?

RE your other comments (and Sams above) I can understand strong feelings about BB HMs (I have them) but when in disagreement with fellow members I feel its not what we say but rather the way that its written which can cause unnecessary hurt or offence. Perhaps its a naïve view but I feel that in being allowed to post uncensored we are given a trust and abusing this is not good for the forum.

Anyway I am enjoying my time on here which is why I felt the need to start this thread.So no reason not to stick around and see whats happening when this BB ends. :laugh:

I cant believe you guys both got perma bans on DS. I have been on there 5 years and never been banned. That is unbelievable but again I don't have anyone hunting me on there. The mods are brutal but I find the whole site very clique. This site has a few kiss asses but not many. This site is also interesting as it makes a thread and drops it really quickly unlike DS that can get well over 1000 replies per post.

I like the movement and the freshness of the subjects.
