My mum was on crutches for 3 weeks. .. they are a pain! .. especially when my dad forced her to race him. they dont half slow you down.

Hope it is feeling better. That said I would not be surprised if you come home with a pot on. They do not usually treat a fracture with just a tubi grip. It would usually be in a cast for 4 to 6 weeks followed by a little physio to get it moving properly. So depending on the type of fracture and location will depend on whether or not you are given a cast that can allow you to walk (with a lovely plastic shoe) on or if it is a non weight bearing cast.

Hope you feel better soon Scooby

Get better soon, Scoobs.

Just be glad it's just a temporary thing though, eh?
