Does anyone else find it cringey that Ashleigh and Chris seem to be constantly together, sitting near each other, hanging around in corners etc. To the best of my knowledge Chris is 30 is he? Ashleigh is twelve years younger. I find it a bit creepy if I am honest. I kinda liked Chris but his diary room stuff lately is creeping me out. Doesn't Ashleigh have ANYONE else she can hang out with.? What about Zoe? Zoe is a free agent and not stuck to someone like the other only remaining girl Helen.

I think Ashleigh needs to distance herself from Chris a bit. And THROW THE DOG IN THE POOL. She was hugging it again tonight. Its the worst case of dependency on a soft toy by an adult that I have ever seen.

I think they should give Mark a secret task to steal and decapitate that friggin dog and show her him doing it in playback.

I did a little when it looked like he was falling asleep on her shoulder, but I'm 100% sure it's just friendship.

Why would Ashleigh hang around with Zoe, after what she heard?

She likes Chris the most.

I don't hate Chris you might notice he was top of my housemates list recently and has rarely left the top half of it. I certainly don't like Ashleigh but this is a casual observation and other than the comment about the dog I am not picking on Ashleigh I am saying she needs to distance herself from a man that's a lot older than her and try and spend time with Zoe or someone else I have gone off Chris a bit but I still prefer him to a lot of the others

Ashleigh just appreciates 'real genuine' people....someone she can trust and shares her dislike of self-centred arrogant prats like Helen Steven and Biancca. Age doesn't come into it...they have a good friendship. As for her dog....probably bought by her boyfriend so she keeps him close....as an 18 year old in love many would do the same.

I used to defend Chris at first, but some of the videos that I've seen recently really make him come across very creepy towards Ashleigh, he doesn't like any guy looking at her, especially if their name begins with P and ends in V.

Even if Ashleigh was single and they had a relationship it would only be weird because you think Chris is creepy, that's why he is called "creepy Chris". So "Ashleigh and Chris" becomes creepy, even if they are just friends.

not at all since they're just friends. pauline was a lot older than steven and they hung around together all the time?

Chris is smitten with Ashleigh (as is Winston imo)

But Pauline wasn't attacking the other girls in the house for hanging around Steven though.

Chris is using Ashleigh.
Overdoing it all a tad, his head practically on her shoulder tonight quite turned my stomache.
He is in danger of losing the win if he carries on with all the asslicking to Helen as well.

I don't see what relevance that has :conf:.

18 is an adult.

My point being that Chris is way more controlling over Ashleigh than Pauline was over Steven.

And I agree with your bottom part of the post btw as that's why I defended him at first, and who could blame him lol? But he does need to stop this controlling behaviour that his developed as there's nothing wrong with him fancying her imo, just don't be so creepy and controlling would be my advice to him if I was in there.

I actually would disagree and say I think pauline was the most controlling person in the house and I'd also say that ashleigh 'leads' if anything the two of them .

Ashliegh needs to keep Chris nearby for toilet guard duty for when she wants to pee and not be disturbed.

I agree that Pauline was overall more controlling on the house dynamics, but in these two individual cases I honestly think that Chris wins.

And god knows what Ashleigh's thinking in this scenario, I would like to think that she isn't leading him on like that and I'm 99% confident that she isn't as she does seem to love her boyfriend, plus that plan sounds a little too cruel even for me.

Your obsession with Ashleigh having a soft toy is creepier than anything you have mentioned above.
....and why do you think people of different ages and genders can't be friends without putting a sleazy slant on it?
Ummmm....

*SIGH*
What a sad world we live in a world where people are still judged for who they bond with!
As a society, we've become much more enlightened about interracial pairings, gay pairings, etc. but we're still so judgmental about 2 people of different ages (both ADULTS of course!) being close.
The word "creepy" should be reserved for sexual predators, perverts and stalkers... Chris is NONE of those things! At the MOST, he has a harmless crush which, being a true gent, he'd never dream of acting on.

Ashleigh seems more mature than most 18 year olds, so it makes sense that she'd connect with the most mature person in the house. I don't find it creepy at all and they're both comfortable with each other. Age is irrelevant. Look at Ashleigh's reaction when Danielle said that Pav was obsessed with her, there's no way she'd hang around Chris if she thought there was anything weird from him.
