Zoe and Ash discuss the other Housemates and she comments that everyone in the House is really successful adding, “If they’d have put me in a House with normal people who are like, ‘I work in Tesco’ or whatever, that’s fair enough but for me, I would have too many stories, too much life experience…”
Oh dear Zoe

she not even famous, everyones forgot about her. Yeah I bet she lives off of her man and isn't really a singer in the west end! Arrogant and selfish, so working in Tescos isn't successful, thats a nice thing to say. If no one worked at supermarkets she would have starved to death by now, stupid cow. She thinks she's so successful and famous, I've never heard of her!!!

She had a point, but the rest of the housemates are not quite the 'lovies' either.
What point did she have?
She implied that people who do certain jobs (for example, Tesco workers) aren't "successful" (at least by her definition), and that they don't have as much "stories and life experience" as her.
Also, why do the other housemates meet her definition of "successful"? Perhaps I missed something, and it's a house full of high-flying, rich celebrities?

Not really. I can understand the point she's trying to convey, but it doesn't exactly mean I have to agree with it.
What point does she have? dying to hear this.
I've seen numerous complaints on here that it was unfair that Zoe was put into the Big Brother house, because she has more of a fan base and that she's technically qualified to enter the Celebrity Big Brother house, when a regular person would have a non-existent fanbase prior to entering a reality TV show. And also take into account that Zoe's already competed on a reality TV competition before, whereas a regular supermarket employee very likely would not have, which does give Zoe more success in terms of fame.
mrflibble
25-07-2014, 10:10 PM
Horrible comment. Why does successful = having some fame? And what makes her think having some fame means she has more life experience? How the hell does she know what everyone's life is like? Her arrogance has been showing more and more but that pretty much sealed the deal on her. Even worse that she thinks she's a humble person whilst looking down on everyone else.
Nell_McCoy
25-07-2014, 10:11 PM
What is Zoe's definition of success Doing soft porn on web cams, doing porn in magazines, having a 3some with a married man for money.........she knows all of this so she obviously thinks she has more in common with sex workers than check out staff. Maybe the days of the casting couch are not over and her trade has more in common with Kim's, Dannielles and Helen's old job Is that why she has nothing in common with "normal" people?

I don't think that is what she meant though Heaven, she seemed to think she wouldn't be able to converse on the same level with a Tesco worker as she would with someone who has been successful, lets face it I have no idea what any of these HMs have been successful at. Pav has a degree that's about it I think. She also knows Helen's past and is putting her in the "successful" bracket.. :umm2:

That's why I do think it's unfair for her to say that, because in terms of life experience, I feel like regular people actually have that advantage over "celebrities", since anybody who's had some fame has been deprived of at least some actual life experience.

I can sort of understand why she'd find people like us boring. I mean c'mon: she's got amazing talent, she's been on TV AND the West End, she's probably met a ton of famous people.
Also, she had her big break at 17 so she never experienced the boring, everyday jobs that we do just for the money. Its NOT 'arrogant' of her to find our lives a bit sad and pathetic. It's natural!
Also, I thought or was nice of her to say that the other HM's are 'interesting' as none of them are exactly her own calibre.

Fgs she sweated it out in a fusty theatre for 7 years singing Michael Jackson songs to tourists and visitors in the West End, its hardly the stuff of dreams, its only a step up from entertaining at Butlins.

Zoe has gone in there with an air of contentment. She sees herself as a big fish in a little pond and has gotten a little too fond of her own importance. If she was as famous as she thinks, then why bb.
She is a flagging desperado looking to kick start her boring career with a bit of notoriety and there aint many that really give a toss. She is a session singer and comes from a pot of thousands so she aint that special anyway. I hardly think an illustrious career getting peanuts for her efforts qualifies her as a special person.
She is trying too hard to be a normal girl, that she has forgotten that that's all she is anyway. As far as a HM goes, she is ok but needs to just act normal again, she is being false and needs to engage her brain before opening her mouth and remember she is being watched by people that hate wanabees.
Why are ppl so jealous of Zoe's life experiences?
All she said is that she's "lived more" than someone with a normal, boring job like working at Tesco. Why should she deny it?
She may have lived differently but I doubt that she's lived more or she wouldn't be making statements like that.
Personally I think that being in the entertainment business for a living would be hell - so I don't put that way of life on a pedestal. However I understand that for some others it is a dream - perhaps yours - so you are prepared to accept others denigrating whatever it is you do for a living. Doesn't mean that others should accept it however.

TBH she is very arrogant but nowhere near as arrogant as the staff at my local tescos who dismiss you with a stern look and wave of a hand and cuss remarks when you simply ask where the baked beans are.
She's no better than anyone who works at Tesco or any other supermarket, she might be in a west end show but many people have been in them before her and many more will be there after her.
