Pavandeep Paul comes under attack from his fellow BBUK housemates in tonight’s show after avoiding eviction.

Despite nominating Steven Goode first, and branding him “an absolute plonker of a human being” just before his eviction, Chris R Wright turns on Pav after he survives the public vote.

He tells Ash he doesn’t think it’s fair that Steven has gone over new Housemates Pav and Zoe and brands Pav “a prick” (“in my opinion”)

Power Alliance leader Ashleigh meanwhile remarks that “it should have been Pav” who left in the live show.

She and Chris discuss putting Steven up for nomination with Zoe and Ashleigh admits she “keeps welling up” about their decision, especially when she sees Helen Wood crying.

Later on, Helen and Chris bond as she reflects on her journey (sound the reality telly cliche gong!).

“I came here thinking I wasn’t judgemental…what a load of sh*t! Look back at what an absolute tw*t I made out of myself…I don’t want to be that person,” she says.

Helen’s story makes Chris cry as he admits that he feels she is the only person to go on a journey in the House and admits that he worries what she thinks about him all the time, adding, “you’re pretty much the reason why I’m here”

Wow from Chris & Ashleigh, especially Chris though as can you suck up more if you tried lol?

And Chris has basically done to Pav like what Pauline did to him, he has shown himself to be a massive hypocrite here as he thought that he should've been given a chance by the Housemates after his VT, yet he won't give Pav a chance because of his VT apparently and he doesn't like the way that Pav looks at Ashleigh.

Tonight's show will cause a lot of Chris chatter. His latest diary room entry about Steven sounds like one of his best yet, but then we see what he said in upload to Ash. A mixed bag

I think they may be taking Biannca/Danielle/Matt's word on Pav too seriously. I think they also feel very comfortable with the old housemates and with Pav being a newbie + the old housemate's words on him, the paranoia has got to them. They all seem to be acting out of character at the moment.

He is doing that, but a lot of viewers won't see it like that.

How else were they supposed to take them? They weren't playing it for laughs

Chris used to be my favourite but does this a lot - speaks behind people's backs and is nice to them to their faces, backs down constantly and kisses people's asses.

****er!

I can't hate people for talking about others behind their backs in BB - it's a part of the whole thing.

Chris is appearing very mean and quite slimy now, not sure if he is doing this intentionally in a manipulative way or if it's unintentional but trying to protect himself.

No, I know, I meant like they seem to have gone into ultra paranoid mode. They could've just quietly taken a step back and sussed him out, but they instead went on the full offensive and it's created a weird tension between them all. I would've listened to the words of my friends as well, but I think maybe they aren't thinking about it properly.

Disappointed in Chris and Ashleigh. Especially Chris, with that "A newbie should leave over an original" mentality. I remember when Helen was hostile towards the Day 2 housemates at the start of the series, because they were "disrupting a family". A shame he's joined in with that same behaviour.

I am increasingly getting a bad impression from Chris, though. Like when he assured Marlon that he'd be there for him that week ... and then nominated him two days later.

I can see where they're coming from to be honest. Steven had given a lot of himself to the experience.

As far as I can tell, they're not being particularly offensive. If they were like Helen with Matthew that night, then people would have a point. But I don't see it myself.

Helen admits that it made her wary of him when she first came to the House and goes on to talk about what the Big Brother experience has taught her. She says, “I came here thinking I wasn’t judgemental…what a load of sh*t! Look back at what an absolute tw*t I made out of myself…I don’t want to be that person” Helen’s story makes Chris cry as he admits that he feels she is the only person to go on a journey in the House and admits that he worries what she thinks about him all the time, adding, “you’re pretty much the reason why I’m here”

This and the chat with Ash look like blatant PNP. Always been wary of this guy. Ever since that performance he put on when he had to save himself from being up with the other guys.

They're singling him out, giving him dirty looks or whatever etc. Looks bad on them and isn't nice for Pav. Even though I don't like Pav and want him to go next, it's not fair (but perhaps he's doing things we're not seeing). But this lot of housemates seems to be exceptionally clique-y this year and they're just being overly hostile to the newbies.

They're all planning on nominating him and they're going on what the 3 ex HMs said. Are they giving him dirty looks?

They're fine with Zoe. It's just the info they've been fed and the crowd reaction as well as his VT which did make him out to be a gameplayer. But you can see they're making an effort to make sure he isn't left out whilst still being a little wary of him.

It's hardly their fault they came in late. I'm tired of housemates acting like they own the house because they've been their longer, and acting as if late entrants aren't just housemates like them. As I said, Chris himself was on the receiving end of that when he entered, so it's a shame to see him adopt that very attitude if he is.

I'm not 100% convinced we have natural housemates and a natural dynamic anyway. We have seen how easy it is to give directions and instructions to housemates throughout the series. Who is to say it's not like that all the time?

Exactly what annoys me. Back in Week 1, he was judged because of a combination of being new and hearsay ... 7 weeks later, he's doing just that to another. Very disappointing.

It could be that Chris has his own reasons for not caring much for Pav.

Worth remembering that Pav did make Kimberly feel uncomfortable by putting her under a lot of intense scrutiny.

I still can't believe that Danielle and Matthew's bitterness is having an effect on some housemates opinions. Even the ones that hated them. :joker:

Just so fickle and easily swayed.

Almost as though it's scripted.

If Chris is acting of his own free will the reason he is talking negatively to Ash about Pav is to avoid being nominated I think. There is no other reason for him to blast Steven in diary room and then say to Ash how upset he is about losing him. It is to get Ash thinking Chris is on our team and Pav is not.

Which would be fine, but the clip posted online suggests that a reason for his "annoyance" at Steven's eviction (the same Steven he bitched about just hours earlier) was that a long-standing housemate left over a newbie.

Also, he definitely has been influenced / swayed by the "Pav and Zoe are gameplayers" thing. He may have already disliked Pav, but he's allowed the hearsay to intensify this. His conversation with Mark by the pool in last night's show illustrates this much, where they discuss Pav and how they won't be played by him, etc.

My initial favourites on the show were Chris, Christopher and Danielle [for different reasons] ...but then when Chris melted into a porridge of patheticness when 'Gobby-Bianca' publicly-challenged him about his gossiping about her and Helen ...I dropped him down the list to the also-ran section!...And Danielle's gone, so i'm stuck with only Christopher in the race...and he can't win because he is just too genuinely nice!!...so i'm stuffed really.
.......But the way that Chris' behaviour has altered over the last couple of weeks...has made me really not wanted him to win at all!

I'm afraid that I am of the same opinion. In fact I have liked Chris from the very start and hoped he would win but if he starts getting cocky (as appears to be the case) then I can see him going down the same route as Jale.
