It's been a complete BOREFEST of a Season so far, for me at least!:bored:

The worst bunch of cowardly male housemates i can remember and a sad lack of females with enough balls to do anything other than suck up to the men in hope that they'll keep them safe for a couple of more weeks before evicting them!

Every extra week any possible opposition to the main group leaves it before attempting to make a move that's an extra person who could have been part of it that's not there for the numbers any more!!!

I blame it firmly on the casting/audition process!!! It seems like any houseguests that are actually BB fans and viewers are few and far between which seems absolutely ridiculous to me!
Surely if they did it properly every single houseguest SHOULD be a diehard BB Super-Fan! That way it would make for a far more competitive and interesting show for the viewers...surely ?
It's because in the US they 'pick' people from actor casting lists and the like because they like the way they look or something! That's how they do it with Survivor a lot as well apparently!:facepalm:

I think the frustrating part is that as much as we want to root for the underdogs we can't because they're really not even trying to play the game and they're letting themselves be steamrolled over. I mean I'm not gonna hate on the detonators (holy **** that names so generic) for playing the game although its just made the series stagnant but realistically both parties (detonators and non detonators) are to blame. I mean like a week ago Amber, Jocasta, Brittany and Victoria were sat together like "sucks we keep getting put up :\" like the alliance was right in front of them and they were just moping and doing nothing about it.

Plus the boot order so far has been really, reeeeeally unfortunate in losing 4 of the biggest characters who also were (for the most part) willing to make moves.

Imo I can't wait until the detonators get rid of most of them tbh. The underdogs are so lame they're not even trying and it's frustrating to watch. Once most of them are gone it will be more interesting because only the game players will be left to compete against each other.

Jocasta i find annoying as hell!!!! I don't think i've ever seen her even vaguely discussing the game, let alone actually thinking of making any moves in it!

There's PLENTY of BB avid viewers and Super-fans who have families who'd love to be in there with their knowledge and enthusiasm towards the game who would be much more likely to play the game hard while also providing interesting stuff for us to watch!
If you've got 3 kids and no interest in BB then go on a quiz show or get yourself a career instead and leave the BB spots open for people who've actually dreamed of being on the show for years (like Donny has!!!).

It annoyed the Hell out of me with BB Canada this year where Jon had never really even seen a single episode of BB yet he went on there, rode a super-fan's tail coats to the final using her knowledge and decisions throughout the entire game and then stabbed her in the back when it came to choosing who to take to the final 2 with him and, in the process, not only took away the chance she deserved to have of winning the main prize but also robbed her of even getting the runners-up cash which went to an idiot who Jon had taken to the final because he knew everyone couldn't stand her!

I don't know what they were thinkinh when they picked half of these people as houseguests!!?:crazy:

Don't get me wrong I'm not a fan of the detonators but I would much rather one of them won than one of the flop outsiders. Brittany was the only housemate I wanted to see win and she's got the others are a huge disappointment.

I found it funny that Christine's gone and ratted out every potential girl alliance that's come to her to the guys and now the guy's (or Zach at least!) is realizing what a useless coat tail rider she is and put her on the block she's left with nowhere to run because she sold 'em all out. Superfans and self-proclaimed superfans almost never deliver. Throw in a bunch of mactors who have no idea what they're doing and let them learn how to play the game as they're playing. All we see is superfans is "I don't wanna get blood on my hands" and "I gotta go with what the house wants" and that's boring as ****.

Still doesn't change that the Detonators are playing it smart (Derrick & Cody mainly) and are taking out literally every one of their main competition one by one. Partly because these houseguests don't know what they're doing but also because they keep making good decisions and getting in the right peoples' heads. That's great BB gameplay, and they're staying off the radar pretty well for as much as they've been able to do to benefit their games.

Every alliance isn't going to fall apart within the first couple weeks of forming. There's going to be successes like the Brigade and so far the Detonators, or more so the Hitmen. Doesn't make it boring, there's still enough going on where the show isn't bad at all. I like to see seasons like these. :idc:

Maybe on the live feeds it's not entertaining, idk (the live feeds WERE awful when I was watching them in the beginning and this was the first season I've bought so not sure on that)

The actual show isn't bad at all, they get enough on there and really the amount of backdoors early on was chaos and since then all the weak-ish players have been going one by one, which has just been ok I guess from an entertainment standpoint. Most of the people who have actually done something are left so the show's starting to get good again and is about to get better now.

I really like the gameplay of most of these same guys that are apparently considered "boring" and douchebags and what not.

That's kinda false logic. Even though you don't like the season so far the fact that it's only halfway through should still give it hope but you've already made up your mind on it. Right now arguably the best players are still in there. Not a single one of the evicted houseguests to this point were really any good except for maybe Hayden. The ones that are left are about to go in a battle and it'll be interesting to see who stays loyal and who makes the biggest moves from here.

The Detonators will predictably steamroll through everyone, Derrick will win because people are literally playing for him to win, etc. Sure the gameplay will step up but these personalities all suck so I don't give a ****. If I don't like them as people and can't stand watching most of them, I'm certainly not going to care about how good they're playing the game.

The whole idea of watching Big Brother for gameplay is really absurd to me. Like I've said, this is the most blatantly rigged reality TV show on television, and if you're not in Grodner's good graces then it doesn't matter how good of a player you are. Literally the only hope is for Derrick to drag Victoria to the end and get blown out of the water by a bitter jury. Or even Caleb at this point, I don't even care.

I'm pretty sure Derrick won't win this season honestly. He's doing a good job strategically but he's doing a little TOO much imo and things will turn against him eventually.
