View Full Version : What the hell is Chris doing?
Chris has been in my top 2 since the start, but what the hell is he doing? His DR observations are spot on, but recently he is ingratiating himself with those he says he despises and he's doing it so blatantly its really strange.
Is he being genuine with them and he forgets what he said in the DR
OR
are we supposed to know he is acting a part when he's sucking up to Helen, Ash etc?
I'm confused. :conf:

I didn't like his conversation with Helen, he came across as weak:(
I really like Chris and feel he's now just let himself down and to be honest i feel a bit let down too:(

Chris is such a fake, I know that is apart of BB but his took it to a whole new level tonight.
I just think it's because 'emotions were high' last night. I didn't understand why he said something bad about Steven going in the DR then confused about him going the next. In that respect, I just wish he would air his views elsewhere than the diary room. But he's probably just trying to fit in/ not argue.

Bit cowardly though to play it as though they like people when they don't.pretty devious I'de say,can you imagine if Helen did that?

Chris isn't a great housemate, as he doesn't bring a lot to the show. But his diary room entries are brilliant. I still want him to win, but ash and Ashleigh are right up there too.

How can you say Ashleigh is doing the same as Chris? She hasn't sucked up to anybody.

He seems to want to be liked by her, then he talks with Ashleigh about her (i have to remember he's an actor!):conf:
I hope it's not an act because that will mean i've been played and i'll feel like a fool....a damn fool:bawling:

Yes, it's no more than a survival tactic, and probably the correct way to play the game Mockinator...but disappointing nonetheless!
...However, I don't see many people knocking Ashleigh when she is doing much the same , do you?

I really don't know what to make of Chris. I don't find him totally likeable and yet I don't dislike him.......

Come on now Kaz, you know Ashleigh hasn't been behaving anything like Chris. Or maybe you didn't see the show tonight? Or just baiting? :suspect:
Anyway, this thread is about Chris...

He is trying to make sure he isn't nominated, I have seen him do this all through big brother!
The guy is a fake I liked him at first but then realised he is actually not a nice person at all!

Ive been scouring through my old posts of the last few days when I predicted his game plan was about to be shot up a notch and he would shoot himself in the foot. You could see it coming a mile off. Hes going the same way as mark now and has left the door open for Christopher now. They are all doing the wrong thing with the exception of Helen, she is going the other way. Upwards and onwards and she is going to get an even bigger break with a juicy storyline and great edits. They are pushing for a big final with *******igh and |Helen with Winston ash and chris in line.

Agreed, but Chris just always runs off into the Diary Room to bitch, but I do agree that Ashleigh should be more confrontational.

There's a lot of things that help Ashleigh with the public over Chris, but I would be here all night typing it out so I don't want to bore anyone to sleep lol.
But I think that you could guess a few of them.

Chris and Ashleigh have been a bit kiss-arsey recently but i think Chris takes the cake --I think Ashleigh is just being civil, whereas Chris seems to actually want to be their friends

I have to say, I've supported Chris from the beginning, and I too think his diary room chat borders on sheer brilliance. However, he really is not doing himself any favours with his befriending of Helen and clique. I do not want to see him blubber on Helen's shoulder, or pretend to cry for the likes of Steven leaving the house. I'm not sure what game he is playing, but frankly, as a Chris supporter, I find myself slowly but surely withdrawing my support for him each time he displays a bout of Helenitis. Then each time he comes back with his diary room aptitude, I'm fond of him again! I wish he'd just quit being two-faced around Helen and co, and tell them exactly what he thinks by his own self admission in the diary room!! It's making him seem like a really fragile character.

Exactly, but some people (who don't like Ashleigh, of course) see it how they want to fit their agenda.
Chris went to the DR and slagged the hell out of Steven, then went to Ash and sucked up telling him how awful it was that Steven went - that it 'wasn't fair'!!!
He's been slagging Helen off to Ashleigh all week then he goes and tells Helen he is worried that she doesn't like him and wants her to respect him and cries and hugs and practically worships her.
The panel on BOTS were talking about how they were almost projectile vomiting.
Ashleigh has done nothing like that. She is being civil just as Helen is being civil to her in return. Helen sat there tonight and was all over Ashleigh telling her how great she is since Danielle left - yet nobody is saying Helen is two faced.
The hypocrisy around here is astounding. :nono:

Chris is trying to avoid nomination but over cooked the gameplay tonight, even Zoe was shocked  i like a gameplayer but not quite such an obvious move, he could be in trouble if he is up especially if he continues his vendetta against Pav who has really done nothing wrong in the house.

From day 1 I said he was and still is a game player but up to now his game has been likable, it took a turn tonight from likable to deceitful and he has gone the same way as the annoying scouser.
The next game player to falter will be Ashleigh as she will drop Chris like a brick and join Helens gang in order to either destroy them from inside or probably to hitch a ride to the final. She is fixated with Ash so might be trying to get in there to get him drooling. She wont go with him, she just wants to make him interested in her because its doing her head in that he isn't drooling over her.
All three are doing it. All two-faced.
I think both Ashleigh and Helen are being civil and playing a safe game with each other. Chris is going way OTT and it's looking bad. There was quite a bit about Chris and his two faced behaviour on BOTS tonight - and nothing about Ashleigh and Helen's so it pretty obvious he is going way beyond anything they are doing - despite some saying here that Chris and Ashleigh are doing the same thing (and no mention of Helen's doing anything at all of course.) Very unfair indeed and hypocritical imo.

He has been acting really weird. I think it's just the way the house feels right now and the fact that there's not many people left. He has always said he sees good qualities in all the housemates, so he probably likes them when they're showing those qualities and then when they're showing their bad qualities he remembers why he didn't like them in the first place. I feel like he's either starting to 'play the game' just to avoid getting on anyone's bad side or he's starting to lose himself and getting a bit confused. Or maybe a bit of both. I think there's also an element of him feeling closer to the old housemates after the new housemates came in.
