Is it me or does it feel Like Dexter potentially has recruited people to go in as housemates to keep his profile high.
Danielle was a walking mass of contradictions.
It occurred to me.
What if the persona Danielle tried to push was one fabricated between her and Dexter to get her into the house and keep his name in the papers.
He's that desperate for fame after all.
It wouldn't surprise me if next year someone else has a connection to him

Probably. At least one housemate next year will have a "connection" with an old one. So stupid.
I want "Joe the plumber" or "Sally who works in Tesco"

Sadly the general public and normal people don't do reality anymore. Its left to the dregs of society to fill those gaps.

Sam if you're so adverse to such people i don't know why you put yourself through the ordeal of watching it. All you do is insult it

I don't think so. If the BB auditions were advertised in supermarkets and that and they persuaded these average Joe's to audition then I think they would go for it. I am sure the supermarket will be kind enough to give their employer their job back once they are out of the house. ha.
There is no reason why "ordinary" people like this wouldn't be as entertaining.

Yeah, just watched yesterday's episode were Zoe was saying she has 12 friends in common with Mark. Cringey stuff..wouldn't mind a few legit 'real people'..not choosin from the same talent pool.

I have even seen "attractive girls" work behind the check out at supermarkets. So if BB want to go for "good looking" people they can also be down at your local too. Rather than just spotted in some trashy magazine/paper modelling shoot!
Would it not be a great selling point for a future BB if they publically stated that all the HMs had been vetted and none had any even minor past TV or celebrity experience.
Every day people who work in supermarkets offices and building sites would imo still make for great viewing.
We have BB and CBB do we really need an In between Brother.?

I hate Dexter, I don't know why BB worship him.

100% agree with this, I would like to see more everyday people on the show, & them getting something out of it, rather than people who have agents & models careers already, it's getting really boring for seeing these type of people on the show.

I would not be shocked one bit if all 19 housemates were selected for the purpose of creating a show based on Big Brother. You have the showmance storyline, the angry ex hooker storyline, the loopy virgin who is actually not storyline, the "actor" is thrown in to put people off the scent that they are all acting in a show and BB pulls the strings on it all.
We seen so many times how easy it is for housemates to follow instructions using earpieces and when on tasks etc.
One example would be the angry outburst at Marlon for pressing the button. Mates wouldn't get that pissed off in my opinion at all. If it was all part of the show however, they can do any storyline they like

Well we know his career has been based around making up stories for papers and the media, so it really wouldn't surprise me.

They want HMs with some camera experience to give the producers a smoother show for the viewer. I doubt viewers will want to see a house full of ordinary couch potatoes.
