I pronounce it Jie because my brother's name is Jay so it's easier if I'm spelling things out

If I was speaking to someone who wasn't Scottish, I would say "Jay" otherwise I'd say "Jie" as it's how everyone I know pronounces it.

Something to do with his name beginning with J.
