Half of the Big Brother 2014 housemates have received letters from home, but others have gone without.



This week the public have the power and yesterday voted for the Housemate they wanted to determine the fate of the other Housemates’ letters from home: That housemate was Winston.

This afternoon he was called to the Diary Room while the rest of the housemates watched on from the Sofas.

In the Diary Room, Winston had to choose which housemate got their letter and which letter would be deleted from the following pairs:

Helen and Mark

Ash and Chris



Pav and Zoe

Ashleigh and Christopher

Winston chose to save Ash, Ashleigh, Helen and Pav’s letters, as well as his own.

As a result, Mark, Chris, Christopher and Zoe went without.

The letters will be delivered to the house later this evening.

Just watched the video posted as well and I think his choices and reasons were sound. As Christopher pointed out at the end "he really does listen", so I'm glad he did take all those things into consideration.

I think Christopher should have got his letter, but I also think Winston gave good reason for choosing Ashleigh and Christopher, like Ash and Chris, said he didn't mind not getting a letter.

Well I think she should have chose Christopher but he did pretty good really to be fair to him.
From being in the house, deciding who out of Ashleigh and Christopher to get a letter would be likely the harder choice for him to make.

I guess if someone helps his decision by saying 'they don't mind' then that helps Winston in his decision. Regardless as to whether Ashleigh has spoken to her mum or not I guess she was hoping for her boyfriend. Ashleigh has put herself selflessly up for nomination above Mark and Chris...so if she sat silent then she has done nothing wrong.
Christopher was gallant...he and Ashleigh are good mates...wouldn't you do the same.
