View Full Version : Is the Chris/Ashleigh/Pav situation too interesting for a HL show?

This is a very strange dynamic that is emerging here with Chris now even talking about not being the jealous boyfriend. And worst of all is that the catalyst for all this, Danielle's comments, were never even shown.

It's a storyline. I don't think the dynamics of the house are natural. It's a house full of actors and extras performing to make the BB show.
This strange obsession that Chris has with Pav is not normal just like the Kimberly and Steven SHOWmance was not normal.

No Live Feed for a reason.

If that's the case why are you watching at all. It is a very strange situation, but you'd think if it was scripted they would have included Danielle's line in there as part of the story.

I think Chris adores Ashleigh.

So you think that Chris has been given a 'role' by big brother - such as 'play the jealous secret admirer' type thing?

And Steven and Kimberley were told to 'play the lovers'?

You know, I honestly hadn't thought about that - but it makes sense somehow in a weird 'big brother' scenario.

"No Live Feed" is always fishy & there is a reason for it...

and that also fits in with Chris's very weird type creepiness with Ash and Helen when Steven got evicted. Chris and Ashley were all for putting Steven and Ash up for eviction, yet when Steven went, Chris was all sneekily sucking up to Ash saying how it was unfair that Steven went. Yes, now it makes sense. Big Brother had given him instructions to suck up to Ash and Helen and act all sorry about Steven going.

You know, I think this Big Brother experiment is played on us viewers more than on the housemates - role out a storyline and see our reactions.

We are being played people!

Chris is just threatened by Pav. He clearly is besotted with Ashleigh... the "feel my hand" clip made it so obvious.

And come to think of it, on BOTS Emma said something about how would the audience feel if a housemate was given the power or a task, and even the audience wouldn't know who it was? Something like that.

Well that is exactly what is happening, isn't it. Chris is given a secret task of 'sucking up to Ash and Helen' for instance and of 'acting like he's obsessed with Ashleigh and jealous of Pav', along those lines.

Oh my! Yes it is all falling into place now. Thank you Achilles. How naive I have been to believe these were real people acting real.

But I don't believe ALL of the housemates are involved in the charade.

It's like the WWF. Heel turns, face turns, feuds, twists, alliances, grudges, storylines and bonkers sex sessions between a businessman and playboy "diva"

That's an entertainment show that passes itself off as "real", but most fans know it's entertainment and a "show".

I would not be shocked to see a final big storyline leading up to Wrestlemania where Ashleigh and Ash "get together", causing both to turn heel and giving Helen the face turn push. We've had the letter from the boyfriend and the rumours of "do they fancy each other?". Imagine the shock and amount of internet discussion there would be if Ashleigh and Ash shared a drunken snog and Helen happened to catch them.

hahaha, now that would be a shocking climax wouldn't it?

You know, I feel quite cheated now I've found out that Ashleigh is not the strong, mature, totally together young woman I thought she was. She's just playing a role isn't she?

I feel like I did when I found out father christmas wasn't real.

when did big brother start scripting it?

But why then would they let Chris be up for eviction the week that's he's seemingly lost the plot and many of his fans?

To create heat for the eviction.

Chris shouldn't even be up because it's supposed to be 2 or more housemates with most nominations. Pav and Zoe got the most votes. Why is Chris up?

That was the deal for when he was chosen to be a housemate at the very beginning. Remember last year when they put that actor in - only then WE, THE AUDIENCE, knew he was an actor.

This year they've upped the ante and kept us in the dark along with SOME of housemates.

Toya was told to be 'hurricane Toya' - make sense now?

I believe Pauline was real. Maybe Jale was real. I think Ash is real. maybe. But I'm so disappointed because I believe Ashleigh isn't.

Big Brother is playing us the audience. Rolling out a scenario and seeing how we react.
