phlegm at night?

weird started having this about 8 weeks ago? ok in the day then phlegm at night? seen the doc he said its probably a virus?

any ideas? is it possible my house or the environment or allergies or something more serious?

Do you have condensation or dampness in your house? the spores from dampness can cause chest infections..

It could just be the change in the weather too or the temperature dropping at night etc.

Doctor should have given you something for it?

I've just had a virus and chest infection,Not just at night though.Is it just when you lay down in bed?Maybe it's in your lungs but you only bring it up when laid out flat?
