Three housemates are believed to have fallen sick with mystery ailments during the current run of the Channel 5 reality show - and according to the Daily Star, soiled pants may be the cause.

An unidentified culprit is reported to have left underwear in housemate's beds, exposing them to possible bacterial infections.

The group has discovered three pairs of ladies' undies and one pair of men's white pants over the last week, with Mark Byron commenting: "We'll get diseases."

Kimberly Kisselovich left the show 10 days ago after suffering from a mystery bug while Helen Wood has felt sick and Chris Wright has developed a rash in the last couple of days.

Ex housemate Steven Goode, 23, also revealed that the house is a "a cesspit".

"It's proper filthy in there. There's food lying around everywhere. It stinks. And someone is leaving these s****y pants and knickers around," he said.

"We are trying to narrow down the suspects. It's disgusting."

It was previously reported the house had been 'invaded by killer rats' .

A spokesman for the Health and Safety Executive said: "While we have no legislation for dirty pants, it is something the studios should assess and deal with appropriately."

Channel 5 have declined to comment.

See, the real punishments for noms rule breaking and other things should be to really clean the house top to bottom because it appears in most series of BB,that is soemthing the housemates hate to have to do.

Yes I remember once a week there was a day devoted to cleaning the house, I think they've done it once this year and they really need to do it again and then get an 'inspector' in to tell them whether they've done a decent jobs. I'm talking cleaning the windows to making the beds here, every housemate should muck it and clear that **** tip.

I know we should allow outside contact... but I seriously think they should lock Housemates in the garden for a few hours and just completely jet the House so it's a bit more clean and hygienic.. I mean the toilet last night made me feel horribly sick.
