I actually had to take care of a hedgehog in my house, as my dog had bitten it as it hunts rats D:
It was cute, and we asked a vet who said as it was a rare albino hedgehog, we could keep it because of it's condition, and they can be tamed, and also because they have trouble in the wild because they're albino.

Turned out it had internal bleeding without us knowing and it died a day later :(
