It's going to get you over the finish line. As I've said... Inoffensive, non-threatening, vulnerable people win.
What a crock of **** this years show is. You've got the likely winner now complaining about being edited to look the way he infact is, even though it's why he's the most likely to win.
I like Christopher and wouldn't mind if he won, but he would be the typical 'nice, inoffensive winner'.
I am still holding out hope that Ashleigh will win and for once we will have a strong, smart female winner with morals and attitude.
We have never had a female HM like Ashleigh before. She doesn't fit the mould of the 'nasty one', or the 'showmance' one, or the 'airhead one' etc that are so typical every year.

Poor Christmas :(
Yep, poor Christmas.
Comments on Digital Spy...
i feel bad for him. Christopher has felt so special and had so much fun "tolerating' mark. To be told that he is being USED and that he should Dump Mark, well you can see why his brain is reeling
I also feel sorry for him, Christopher is very popular and he didn't get any nice comments like how genuine he is ... unlike Winston

She's probably toast after tonight. She's picked on saint Christopher.

Isn't funny how the bitchiest remarks always come from people who hate Ashleigh?

Which is no doubt why the anti Christopher threads have started...
Wouldn't mind if Christopher won it tbh, he wouldn't be my first choice but he's not the worst.

How anyone can look at the responses to Christopher on every youtube video and every post on here or Digital Spy and tell me he isn't exactly the sort of inoffensive, non-threatening, vulnerable bore that women feel protective over is beyond me.
He is exactly the same category as every winner for the last 3 years.

He could never be worst when I think about it. He's too boring for that.

That's probably because as entertaining as nasty people can be during the show (to some) they would rather see a nice appreciative winner walk away with the 100k.

I don't think he is boring really, he's had some good and consistent storylines from the start in this series.
Now he is finding his way to take on Mark a bit more too, the last few nights highlights have been good ones for him I think.
Inoffensive he may be, That is a quality I admire in people and he has been my favourite from the first week with only a 2 weeks change to Matthew until his eviction.
I'd love to see Christopher win, good luck to him.

They'd like to see a victim win so they can congratulate themselves for rushing to their defence.
Aaron was being picked on by the evil production team. Luke A was Nadia: The Next Generation and Sam struggled to find a voice for 8 weeks.

Who doesn't? Why is him standing up for himself the defining characteristic? Because he's perceived as being picked on... Something even he himself is now upset about the perception being, despite the fact it's helping him to win.

what leaves me completely astounded is the fact that some voters are willing to spend money promoting someone or something we all absolutely hate even in our own kids. If a potty mouthed, cantankerous and spoilt child was to act up in front of you in a supermarket, I reckon everyone would bite their lip but when they appear on tv, they are a bloody hero. Jesus freekin wept, I despair.

Oh, excellent point Josy as ever.
It isn't. They want to see someone who is a vulnerable figure win so they can congratulate themselves for the good deed they did today. It's pure sentimentality that is all about the viewers and nothing to do with the HM.
It's like Nadia... Take away the story about acceptance and what's left? Nothing the viewers are interested in. Hence her being voted out on UBB and ending up on suicide watch. Did anyone care? No. They only care insofar as it allows them to feel good about themselves.

You're trying to make a point here that you can't quite seem to articulate.
But this is a thread about Christopher and the victim status that even he seems annoyed with despite it being likely to lead to him being a winner.
And the response from Christopher's fans? "I feel so sorry for Christopher" :joker:

I don't dislike Christopher...he is harmless but I bet he is a nightmare to live with. He obviously isn't one for hygiene or cleanliness...he is probably a really annoying housemate which is why people snap at him the way they do.
He has become confident but that could be seen as ciponfidence of being liked by the public and being saved.
He will make the final but I hope he doesn't win..

It's strange that these certain people hate Ashleigh for being bitchy.. yet they call her names like Clearasil Annie :hehe: Pot calling the kettle black
Sorry my bad I will stop calling her Clearasil Annie, can I call her Dermaglen Dorothy instead.

Its a defining characteristic when someone in that position stands up to a bully. A very admirable quality.
The majority of the British public are not bullies by nature, and therefore identify more with level headed people. The fact that BB insists on filling the house with fame seeking wannabes with very few normal types doesn't give that voting public much choice at the end for a winner.
If what you want is a more open contest, then lobby BB to fill the house with more natural, normal people. If what you want is a bloodbath with the winner being the one who inflicts the most damage, then maybe BB, as it currently stands, is not for you.

Stop directing comments towards other members, that includes blanket statements about 'fans'.
I'm constantly seeing the same thing from certain members.
Housemates are fair game within reason, if you don't like what someone posts about them then use the ignore function or if its over the top then report it.

No Vanessa..no one is perfect. I just think he has been the vulnerable character who has become strong. I like to see people have the strength to stand up for themselves and it's good that the publics support has enabled him to do that.
However he is his own worst enemy with Mark in that mark walks all over him but he still forgives him and goes back for more...
Like I say I bet he is a real irritant to be around... I just don't want him to win...just another forgettable character.

Love is blind... The trouble is he shouldn't preach about other people disrespecting him when his love interest does it all the time to him... Be consistent...and don't have double standards when it suits.
I have no respect for that.
