She's gone from studying animal care at Kirklees College to being stopped in the street to pose for selfies with adoring fans - and all because of a six second video clip.
Latitia Simmonds, 18 - known as Tish - uploaded the clip of her in her mum's car to Vine, a mobile app which takes six second videos - and became an internet sensation overnight.
A week later Tish, of Skelmanthorpe, says she has no idea why her videos are so popular, but she's hoping her 15 minutes in the spotlight will help her on the path to a new career.
The former Shelley College pupil said: "I found Vine and thought I would have a go. I was just sitting in the car thinking, "what shall I do? I'll do 'broom broom'.
"I just make it up as I go along and then I tell my mum what to say."
She put the Vine on Twitter - and in a matter of days the video was seen by millions of people.
Tish, who says she's shy until she gets talking to people, said: "People started following me on Twitter so I did some more - one about a cheeseburger and one with a joke. I don't know why they are so popular. People must think they are funny. They have been saying , 'I love your Vines. Please make more, you are very funny'. It's a nice feeling.

"I have been stopped in the street - even when I went to Bridlington. There have been a lot of pictures taken. People ask if they can have a selfie with me. It's really good.
"People have been supportive but some of the comments are from haters. It makes me feel a bit sad."
Tish deleted her Vines after receiving abuse - but then decided to make a video about cyber-bullying, telling her fans what to do if they're bullied online.
She said: "Sometimes I don't feel like doing it when people say nasty things to me, but I just ignore them.
"I just enjoy doing them and I want to carry on. It's a change because I used to sit around doing nothing but now I can make vines.
"I am going to carry on doing them and see what people think. I am studying animal care, which is working with the RSPCA and looking after homeless pets. I really love animals and I've got pets at home. I might do a vine with my dog Sam who's a collie - he looks like a fox.
"But I like doing a bit of acting so I might like to do voice over and cartoon characters. I would really like to be in a cartoon."
Her mum Dawn, who appears in some of the videos, said: "I think she's all right but some of the comments haven't been very nice.
"I tell her not to listen and just ignore them, or it will get her down. She enjoys doing it and if she's happy then I'm happy.
"I don't mind being in the videos if they look all right."
