That's just my theory on her relationship with her captors; Chris and Helen.

If Chris would look like Winston or Ash, everyone would be "isn't that lovely". Sadly, Chris ain't greatest looking guy in the world. So girls think he is creepy.

That is a very interesting point, and usually I would be inclined to agree with you. HOWEVER, everyone knew Chris liked Ashleigh weeks ago and eveyone DID think it was innocent and lovely, until he warned off Pav for doing exactly what he has been doing himself and admitted to doing.
At that point everyone else thought, fine if you're gonna make a big deal out of the Pav thing and humiliate him, we'll do the same to you

In most cases of Stockholm syndrome, the hostage looks to their captor as someone that will protect them from unknown enemies. Kind of a 'better the devil you know' situation :pipe2:

It's difficult to tell with only highlights how much time they actually spend together.
I don't think Ashleigh looks upon him as some type of protector, if anything it's the other way around. Ashleigh has the capability to get on fine with the any of the others, Chris is kinda limited, he's socially awkward.
Remember when Dani & Ashleigh were friends, despite being younger, Ashleigh was like the grown up in their friendship. And for the most part I think it's the same with Chris. And what I meant be saying he's a friend that she feels safe with is, that he will never vote her and that being friends with him she won't get accused of fancying the person she's hanging out with, and if she was great friends with Winston, it would be a press story, and people would read far too much into their friendship.
So yea I think Ashleigh is the dominant one in her friendship with Chris.

I don't think Chris and Ashleigh are friends at all, the body language just isn't right for that. Chris may think it, but I don't think Ashleigh does. They are allies. It suits them both at the moment to stick together, but if Ashleigh thought she had a stronger alliance elsewhere she would jump at it

You mean had a word with Pav?
Well...
A: Ash and Winston haven't called him a Prick behind his back and then pretended to be giving friendly advice.
B: Ash said that he hadn't noticed it and even still, thinks Ashleigh is a pretty girl and it's natural, so Ash wouldn't even think to confront Pav about such a thing. Neither would Winston.

That's really great insight  and I agree about Ashliegh being the dominant one in her friendship with Dani, however Chris sees himself as the 'father' figure to Ashleigh and definitely see's their relationship in a much deeper way than she does. Ashleigh is the dominant one, but he doesn't know it.

You don't understand what I'm saying, Ash or Winston are not in that situation (despite Chris trying to drag them in to it) because they have already expressed their views and don't agree with Chris. Neither would behave in such a way - Winston is Winston, Ash is Ash and Chris is Chris.
If you're asking me that if Chris had Ash or Winston's looks and did the same thing, I would indeed condemn him, just as I condemned Ash for calling Jale a Maggot. Unlike some, I still haven't forgotten that, but at least he apologised and seemed to express some genuine remorse.

It's one of those questions where I know you wouldn't believe me unless I gave you the answer you wanted.
I don't know why you think that I'm such a big fan of Winston or Ash. In fact, I couldn't care less if either of them went tomorrow. I've watched every BB since season one and I don't have emotional attachments towards any housemates to the point where I will back them to the hilt. I was actually a Chris fan until he started gunning for Pav.
Notice how he often tries to get Ash to agree with his statements about Pav and Ash is reluctant to agree? It makes me think, if Ash doesn't have an issue with him, why do you? Ash is meant to be the bad guy.
Either way, Chris did it, not Ash he should suffer the consequences.
Can I now ask you a question? Would Chris have confronted Ash or Winston about staring at Ashleigh? Or did he just pick on Pav because he was low down in the pecking order? :nono:

You still talkin nonsense on your answer. And your question "Would Chris have confronted Ash or Winston about staring at Ashleigh". Yes he would. I can see you have been targeted Chris as a bad guy. I don't know why is that. You find Chris repulsive? Might be the reason. Well we cannot like everyone. Still makes me wonder your anti-Chris campaign.

The title of the thread is tongue in cheek, but my opinion on Chris' behaviour is legit.
You know full well Chris would never have confronted Ash or Winston about such an issue because he is fearful of that group. You saw it yourself when he broke down in tears because he was worried if Helen liked him or not. Is that really your hero?
I've already explained to you that I was a Chris fan. In fact I used to think that I identified the most with him in the house. His diary room monologues always seemed to be on point! However, he is acting differently now he's in the 'cool' gang and it's not good at all.
I never once said I found Chris repulsive, please do not make assumptions or put words in my mouth. Let's stick to the facts i.e. what we've seen.

You only asked me if I find Chris repulsive. The answer is no, I find his behaviour this week disappointing and unfair.
Lets actually break this down really simply to avoid all housemate bias...
Would you like to be accused of being a perv on national television and in front of your friends and family? Particularly by someone that has admitted to doing the exact same thing that they are accusing you of?
I'm not a pav supporter of a Chris hater, all I did was put myself in that young lads shoes.
Don't forget Chris has put his opinion forward as friendly advise and said to the guys face that he likes him and wants to go for a drink with him, whilst behind his back he has slated him, called him names and tried to turn people against him. What's really to like about that?

Chris has indeed done a lot wrong, please see my previous replies to you where I have given you plenty of examples.
I hardly post on this community any more and this is only one of two threads about Chris - hardly obsessive is it? are we only allowed to make one thread per housemate per season?
