None in Plymouth but my daughter has had some on Dartmoor.
Very strong winds here and freezing cold. I think the dogs will have to stay in the house tonight and not in the Kennels.

We've got LOADS of snow, Amy! :hello: http://www.clicksmilie.de/sammlung/aetsch/aetsch013.gif

Mind you, although I love the snow (and so does canine Kaz!), the conditions up here are appalling for drivers because of drifting snow. A lot of roads around me are blocked just now.

Fortunately (or unfortunately depending on how you look at it) I can walk to work even if it gets really bad.

There's more forecast for tomorrow too. :spin2:

The attached image is from my back window this morning.

It seemed to be dry and powdery, the wrong kind of snow if you run railway trains.

As far as I am concerned your welcome to it. I want to see some decent rain to wash it all away

Strong winds and occasional rain.

The gritting lorry has just gone up the drive so it looks as if they might be expecting SNOW?
More likely just ice on the roads though.
We never seem to get much snow in Plymouth, I guess it must be because we are right on the coast.:mad:

We havent had so much as a flake of snow worst luck. I love it especially when it is fresh and crispy. Feel very jealous of all those parts of the country which are looking really wintery. I know it causes problems, but then if it rains a lot it causes problems in this house.

And as I can get around too much I could be sitting by the fire in the warm watching it snowing outside:thumbs::thumbs: But no such luck

As much as I also love snow I don't think the people stranded on the M11 in their cars overnight becuase of it would necessarily agree.

I was supposed to be with clients in Cambridge yesterday, but it got cancelled at the last minute. If it had gone ahead I would very probably have been stuck on the M11 with them on the way back. Not a nice thought.

I like snow, but I'll be glad when it goes as well. I have to drive to Norwich on Tuesday so I'm hoping it will have gone by then.

I know what was all that about, blimey they can sort stuff out for a war quick enough, but put a bit of grit down on the roads, no chance. Just as well there was no emergencies or we'd have been looking at more deaths on Britains useless infrastructure. I remember once around here, when it snowed and they hadn't gritted, it took 2 hours to travel 3 miles to work. Pathetic:mad::mad:

Suffolk had quite a lot of snow over the past few days.

Sunny today though and it seems to be melting a bit.

Anybody build any snowmen?!

I kids who live next door to me did.

Even though most of the snow has melted the snowman is still sitting incongruosly in the middle of the green outside my house. He looks rather lonely and forlorn now.

Please NO SNOW until Wednesday.

I like snow and you can have loads from Wednesday, but on Tuesday I have to get up early to pick a client up from the other side of London at 6:30am and then drive to Norwich.

Snow would not be good. :nono:

Guess what, I can't believe this, but yes, you've guessed it, we've had snow. Not a lot, but it's there stuck to the ground, only a shower, but we'll see if we get any more. Hope they've got those gritters out tonight.:elephant::spin2:

We've had 3 inches in as many hours this evening. Where I work the road has been closed because it's on a hill and the cars simply can't get up there!

I think I'll be up at 6 in the morning, walking to work!!!!!

Kaz

Well, after a promising forecast for today . . . . . absolutely nothing! :bawling:

Although it's been so cold that none of the existing snow has melted, and the pavements are like a skating rink because the dear Council haven't been round and gritted them yet!

Fingers crossed for you, LEE - if it has to snow it can do it up here - I can walk to work!!

P.S. I thought Goodfellas was a type of pizza.

Well, I'm just back from Norwich and thankfully had a snow-free journey.

It didn't snow at all here overnight. It was VERY cold, but no snow.

While in Norwich it did snow briefly, but only for about an hour and as it was quite sunny afterwards, it melted, didn't stick and we had a good journey back down the M11 as well.

I haven't got another long journey until next Tuesday now so it can snow all it wants over the next few days.
