Zoe's eviction from one comment one of the biggest overreactions of BB history?

I'm quite shocked one small comment has been blown up so much and is the reason why Zoe got evicted. I thought she was a bore but wouldn't centre her whole stay in BB around that comment, which is how she's going to be remembered when you look back on this series.. I think the reaction to this has been so OTT/dragged on and must be because there's no other talking points of interest that can be debated (because this series is THAT bad...)?

They wouldn't have said it because they don't see themselves as above anyone else, whereas Zoe obviously does as she's a West End singer and has that claim to fame, it may well have brought her down to earth with a big ol bang as she discovers that actually she does have a massive ego, especially if she truly believed she was salt of the Earth.

I agree...the comment was the excuse people were looking for because they didn't buy all the 'happy flappy' personoa... She is fake...she masks everything. Just be honest Zoe...be yourself...stop finding excuses for everything.
She so wanted to stay...then said she was delighted to go. She missed her parents??...speaking to them everyday..8 times a day...seriously?? It's all so unbelievable...it doesn't add up. People see this but can't quite put their finger on the hypocrisy of it all...so the Tescos comment became a reason and it all went into overdrive!!!

Imagine if they hadn't even aired it. The whole eviction and potentially end outcome of the series would've been different. It's not like the comment was necessary to the episode plot or anything.
