He's been annoying since he got close with Mark

He has changed since the housemates compare task. Everyone in there has a game plan. Christopher has adjusted his because he thinks the sympathy vote is not working well enough. You can notice it when you watch the uploads and the start of highlights show tonight made it even more obvious. It is now sympathy vote + airtime like Mark does.

Yep the more airtime he gets, the more annoying he seems. I understand now why no one liked him the first couple of weeks in there.

Yes, he is rather annoying. Not as annoying as mark, but still annoying just the same...

I actually think he would be a decent guy outside the house. Inside the house his game plan is to get the sympathy vote. He cannot do that without being annoying. Christopher is not a moron. He is one of the most intelligent housemates in there. Do you think he could do his job being such a Jar Jar Binks in real world?

Totally.
He is really over doing his "I don't care about Mark" routine. Mark cares for him more.
His voice is very irritating. And I think Christopher has sucked up to everyone the whole series.

Christopher, Mark, Pav, and as much as I hate to say it but Helen and Ash are all really becoming annoying, I do think the highlights are doing it on purpose to these people to get a certain outcome.

Yes, he annoyed the hell out of me tonight. I thought maybe it was because I was really tired after being out on a hike all day. But he got too much air time tonight and let me see what the HM's have been seeing. If I was in there I'd have to get away from him. He just drones on and on and on.
I don't want him to annoy me as I always liked him, but unfortunately he is really starting to.

I haven't seen tonight's episode so hard to comment but it sounds like he has put Mark in his place....do you think it is off the back of The Panel saying he is destroying his chances by being attached to Mark...just a thought..

Watched it.
This is exactly what I have said all along... What Christopher did in the bathroom is what he is really about. He is one of those people who does something to death...people obviously laughed at his impressions of Mark...and he would have loved that but then he does it to death and this is how becomes SO annoying. Over and over and over again. This I think is what we all don't see...the irritant Christopher...no wonder people have been prone to snap at him...and even talk over him....I just find him incredibly annoying.
His thing with Mark...he is just killing to death...he thinks he is going to win...I truly hope he doesn't. Harmless bloke just getting too big for his boots and sick of his voice.
As I originally said before seeing the episode I do believe he might turn on Mark aware that the public thinks his relationship is jeopardising his chances...he won't be nasty..he will just try and be more macho and be seen to stand up to him more.
Yeah! bored of him and Mark now, I'd like to see Mark go next and see what Christmas has to offer without him.

He is reacting to hearing that he doesn't stick up for himself enough. Such a shame because he is a nice person.

Possibly that could be an issue, well pointed out.
The thing I don't like is that once it is done he then later makes light of it with Mark.
So I can see why some are feeling this is just going to be one long cycle to the final between these 2 and this 'bickering' for want of a better word.

This is where outside influence can change a person dramatically and then we are not seeing their true character...just like Helen holding back her true personae because she's on a final warning...

Outside influence does ruin the show.
