has the balls to stand up to the loud mouthed aggressive cow Helen. Let's see a bit more of this and I may even support him for the win.

So being a prick to Helen is okay then? Would it have been okay if he had deliberately tried to wind up and be a prick to Ashleigh or Chris? I bet not.

He wouldn't have done it to either of them because neither would have risen to the bait. They have the common sense to realise that people will always disagree and to accept it rather than aggressively confronting someone about it.
Winston wasn't being a prick to Helen - he was standing up to her, not backing down. I would do exactly the same if I was in his situation. Why should everyone automatically shut up whenever Helen starts to get angry and constantly feel they're treading on eggshells? If people disagree with her, they have every right to say so and if she doesn't like it, she can always leave. Noone's stopping her
It's funny how in the diary room a second before she was saying how she's learned to control her temper and then starts getting angry about something that is actually none of her business (Mark and Christopher's disagreement is between them, nothing to do with her). She really hasn't learn anything since she's gone in there apart from how to bite her tongue when she's at risk of being ejected from the show.
He's stood up to Helen quite a few times, when Helen, Kimberly and Jale went up against Ashleigh Winston stood up for Ashleigh, as did Mark.

Indeed - he is more impressive than he first appears.

He's very impressive. Once he knows who it is a good idea to stand up to so the viewers are happy with him.
Total phoney.

I question how genuine it is. I feel like he is very smart and aware of how he's being perceived and how he can get the public on his side.

You are most wise.
Welcome to the winning team:hello:

For me it was the Winmeister just winding her up!
Watching it i didn't feel she was getting aggressive, she just has that tone of voice that seems like she's going to bite all the time.
It made me laugh when Winston said "it hurt my feelings too!" (With a smile on his face!)

Week 8/9 Dimston does something?:hehe:
To be fair to Helen she did come out with a corker when she said to Winston "What do you wanna do, have an arm-wrestle?"

Like I said on another thread, Winston did not stand up to Ash or Helen last night. Instead he just laughed it off. He is holding back as he think he will win BB.
He is the biggest game player in there for me.
Does nothing then picks up a cheque for a hundred grand. Not bad :nono:
Winston's done some stuff in the house, always puts his all into tasks and defended a couple of people when he felt they were being treated unfairly.

I laughed at this

I like him for not letting Helens opinion, be the only opinion, Ash agrees with everything she says, what a load of nothing he is.
Keep it up Winston, I like the new you, didn't like the old one but like Helens change of character, I need to see more before he is my winner.
Ashleigh still gets my vote for playing the game, knocking spots off Helen and not getting big headed.

He stood up to Helen about 5 weeks ago defending Ashleigh of all people so this isn't the first time hes done something hes actually quite a vocal character. Hes Definitely not a sheep..
Last night he came across as a prick though baiting for an argument.
He does seem to speak up at the wrong times its just odd.
