Chris and His Fags

They are on rations and he has one packet left. Winston had asked him about 10 times and he'd been giving his half smoked cigarettes to others who had asked as well.

He has been giving cigarettes out willy nilly. Now that he is down to only a few left he is more cautious about being willy nilly with them

They kind of pointed out in the ep that Winston is more of a social smoker and Chris is a bit of a full-on smoker.

I'm an ex smoker and I can assure you there is nothing worse than someone asking you for cigs all the time especially when your down to your last.

Totally agree but I would never refuse a REAL smoker a cigarette, especially someone I knew, but I have always thought it extremely selfish of people who are not addicted in BB smoking the cigarettes or non-smokers grabbing them to hold power over the smokers (like pervy Marcus did yrs ago)

As a real smoker for over 70 years [not proud of it] I totally understand Chris not wanting to waste his meagre rations on a part-time social smoker!...He did right!

No he ain't being stingy, they have been stealing his cigarettes for weeks.

No he has given them away but now thy are on rashons he has to be careful with them most of the house smokes
